ಮೋಶೆಯು ಹೇಳಿದ ಹಾಗೆ ಆರೋನನು ಅದನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಸಭೆಯ ಮಧ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ಓಡಿಬಂದನು. ಆಗ ಇಗೋ, ವ್ಯಾಧಿಯು ಜನರೊಳಗೆ ಪ್ರಾರಂಭ ವಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಆಗ ಅವನು ಧೂಪವನ್ನಿಟ್ಟು ಜನರಿಗೋ ಸ್ಕರ ಪ್ರಾಯಶ್ಚಿತ್ತಮಾಡಿದನು.
