Proverbs 22 - ASV (Kannada)

1 A `good' name is rather to be chosen than great riches, `And' loving favor rather than silver and gold.ಬಹು ಐಶ್ವರ್ಯಕ್ಕಿಂತಲೂ ಒಳ್ಳೆಯ ಹೆಸರನ್ನೂ ಬೆಳ್ಳಿ ಬಂಗಾರಕ್ಕಿಂತ ಪ್ರೀತಿಯ ದಯವನ್ನೂ ಆರಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವದು ಉತ್ತಮ.

2 The rich and the poor meet together: Jehovah is the maker of them all.ಧನಿಕರು, ಬಡವರು ಒಟ್ಟಾಗಿ ಸಂಧಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ; ಅವರೆಲ್ಲರನ್ನು ಸೃಷ್ಟಿಸಿದಾತನು ಕರ್ತನೇ.

3 A prudent man seeth the evil, and hideth himself; But the simple pass on, and suffer for it.ಜಾಣನು ಕೇಡನ್ನು ಮುಂದಾಗಿ ನೋಡಿ ಅಡಗಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಾನೆ; ಬುದ್ಧಿಹೀನರು ಮುಂದೆ ಹೋಗಿ ಶಿಕ್ಷೆಯನ್ನು ಹೊಂದುತ್ತಾರೆ.

4 The reward of humility `and' the fear of Jehovah `Is' riches, and honor, and life.ಐಶ್ವ ರ್ಯವೂ ಮಾನವೂ ಜೀವವೂ ವಿನಯ ಕರ್ತನ ಭಯದಿಂದಲೇ.

5 Thorns `and' snares are in the way of the perverse: He that keepeth his soul shall be far from them.ಮೂಢರ ದಾರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮುಳ್ಳು ಗಳೂ ಉರುಲುಗಳೂ ಇವೆ; ತನ್ನ ಪ್ರಾಣವನ್ನು ಕಾಪಾ ಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವವನು ಅವುಗಳಿಂದ ದೂರವಾಗಿರುವನು.

6 Train up a child in the way he should go, And even when he is old he will not depart from it.ನಡೆಯಬೇಕಾದ ಮಾರ್ಗದಲ್ಲಿರುವಂತೆ ಹುಡುಗನಿಗೆ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣಕೊಡು; ಆಗ ಮುಪ್ಪಿನಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಅವನು ಅದ ರಿಂದ ಹೊರಟು ಹೋಗುವದಿಲ್ಲ.

7 The rich ruleth over the poor; And the borrower is servant to the lender.ಐಶ್ವರ್ಯವಂತನು ಬಡವನ ಮೇಲೆ ಆಳುತ್ತಾನೆ. ಸಾಲಗಾರನು ಸಾಲಕೊಟ್ಟ ವನಿಗೆ ಸೇವಕನು.

8 He that soweth iniquity shall reap calamity; And the rod of his wrath shall fail.ಕೆಟ್ಟತನವನ್ನು ಬಿತ್ತುವವನು ವ್ಯರ್ಥ ವನ್ನು ಕೊಯ್ಯುವನು; ಅವನ ಕೋಪದ ದಂಡವು ಬಿದ್ದುಹೋಗುವದು.

9 He that hath a bountiful eye shall be blessed; For he giveth of his bread to the poor.ದಯಾದೃಷ್ಟಿಯುಳ್ಳವನು ಆಶೀ ರ್ವಾದವನ್ನು ಹೊಂದುವನು; ತನಗಿದ್ದ ಆಹಾರದಲ್ಲಿ ಬಡವರಿಗೆ ಕೊಡುತ್ತಾನೆ.

10 Cast out the scoffer, and contention will go out; Yea, strife and ignominy will cease.ಪರಿಹಾಸ್ಯ ಮಾಡುವವ ನನ್ನು ಹೊರಗೆ ತಳ್ಳಿಬಿಟ್ಟರೆ ಕಲಹವು ನಿಲ್ಲುವದು; ಹೌದು, ವಿವಾದವೂ ನಿಂದೆಯೂ ನಿಂತುಹೋಗು ವವು.

11 He that loveth pureness of heart, `For' the grace of his lips the king will be his friend.ಹೃದಯ ಶುದ್ಧಿಯನ್ನು ಪ್ರೀತಿಸುವವನಿಗೆ ತನ್ನ ತುಟಿಗಳ ಕೃಪೆಗಾಗಿ ಅರಸನು ಅವನಿಗೆ ಸ್ನೇಹಿತ ನಾಗಿರುವನು.

12 The eyes of Jehovah preserve `him that hath' knowledge; But he overthroweth the words of the treacherous man.ಕರ್ತನ ಕಣ್ಣುಗಳು ತಿಳುವಳಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಕಾಪಾಡುತ್ತವೆ; ಆತನು ದೋಷಿಯ ಮಾತುಗಳನ್ನು ಕೆಡವಿಹಾಕುತ್ತಾನೆ.

13 The sluggard saith, There is a lion without: I shall be slain in the streets.ಸೋಮಾರಿಯು--ಹೊರಗೆ ಸಿಂಹವಿದೆ; ಅದು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಬೀದಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಕೊಂದು ಹಾಕುತ್ತದೆ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾನೆ.

14 The mouth of strange women is a deep pit: He that is abhorred of Jehovah shall fall therein.ಪರಸ್ತ್ರೀಯ ಬಾಯಿ ಆಳವಾದ ಕುಣಿ; ಕರ್ತನಿಗೆ ಅಸಹ್ಯವಾದವನು ಅದರಲ್ಲಿ ಬೀಳುವನು.

15 Foolishness is bound up in the heart of a child; `But' the rod of correction shall drive it far from him.ಮೂರ್ಖತನವು ಹುಡುಗನ ಹೃದಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಕಟ್ಟಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿದೆ. ಶಿಕ್ಷೆಯ ಬೆತ್ತವು ಅದನ್ನು ಅವನಿಂದ ದೂರವಾಗಿ ಓಡಿಸಿಬಿಡುವದು.

16 He that oppresseth the poor to increase his `gain', `And' he that giveth to the rich, `shall come' only to want.ತನ್ನ ಐಶ್ವರ್ಯವನ್ನು ವೃದ್ಧಿಗೊಳಿಸುವದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಬಡವರನ್ನು ಹಿಂಸಿಸುವವನೂ ಐಶ್ವರ್ಯವಂತರಿಗೆ ಕೊಡುವವನೂ ನಿಶ್ಚಯವಾಗಿ ಕೊರತೆಪಡುವನು.

17 Incline thine ear, and hear the words of the wise, And apply thy heart unto my knowledge.ಕಿವಿಗೊಟ್ಟು ಜ್ಞಾನಿ ಗಳ ಮಾತನ್ನು ಕೇಳು; ನನ್ನ ತಿಳುವಳಿಕೆಗೆ ನಿನ್ನ ಹೃದಯ ವನ್ನು ಪ್ರಯೋಗಿಸು.

18 For it is a pleasant thing if thou keep them within thee, If they be established together upon thy lips.ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ನಿನ್ನೊಳಗೆ ಕಾಪಾಡಿದರೆ ಅದು ರಮ್ಯವಾಗಿದೆ; ಅವು ನಿನ್ನ ತುಟಿ ಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಹೊಂದಿಕೊಂಡಿರುವವು.

19 That thy trust may be in Jehovah, I have made `them' known to thee this day, even to thee.ನಿನ್ನ ಭರವಸವು ಕರ್ತನಲ್ಲಿ ಇರುವಂತೆ ನಿನಗೆ ಈ ದಿವಸ ತಿಳಿಯ ಪಡಿಸಿದ್ದೇನೆ.

20 Have not I written unto thee excellent things Of counsels and knowledge,ಸತ್ಯದ ಮಾತುಗಳ ಸ್ಥಿರತೆಯನ್ನು ನಾನು ನಿನಗೆ ತಿಳಿಯಪಡಿಸುವಂತೆಯೂ ನಿನ್ನ ಕಡೆಗೆ ಕಳುಹಿ ಸಿದವರಿಗೆ

21 To make thee know the certainty of the words of truth, That thou mayest carry back words of truth to them that send thee?ನೀನು ಸತ್ಯದ ಮಾತುಗಳನ್ನು ಉತ್ತರಿ ಸುವಂತೆಯೂ ಆಲೋಚನೆಗಳ ತಿಳುವಳಿಕೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಶ್ರೇಷ್ಠವಾದ ಸಂಗತಿಗಳನ್ನು ನಿನಗೆ ಬರೆಯಲಿಲ್ಲವೋ?

22 Rob not the poor, because he is poor; Neither oppress the afflicted in the gate:ಅವನು ಬಡವನೆಂದು ಬಡವನನ್ನು ಸೂರೆಮಾಡ ಬೇಡ; ಮಾತ್ರವಲ್ಲದೆ ದ್ವಾರದಲ್ಲಿ ದರಿದ್ರರನ್ನು ಹಿಂಸಿಸ ಬೇಡ.

23 For Jehovah will plead their cause, And despoil of life those that despoil them.ಕರ್ತನು ಅವರ ವ್ಯಾಜ್ಯವನ್ನು ನಡಿಸಿ ಸೂರೆ ಮಾಡಿದವರ ಪ್ರಾಣವನ್ನು ಸೂರೆಮಾಡುವನು.

24 Make no friendship with a man that is given to anger; And with a wrathful man thou shalt not go:ಸಿಟ್ಟುಗಾರನೊಂದಿಗೆ ಸ್ನೇಹಮಾಡಬೇಡ; ಕೋಪಿ ಷ್ಠನ ಸಂಗಡ ನೀನು ಹೋಗಬೇಡ.

25 Lest thou learn this ways, And get a snare to thy soul.ಹಾಗೆ ಮಾಡಿ ದರೆ ನೀನು ಅವನ ನಡತೆಗಳನ್ನು ಕಲಿತು ನಿನ್ನ ಪ್ರಾಣಕ್ಕೆ ಉರ್ಲನ್ನು ಸಿಕ್ಕಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವಿ.

26 Be thou not one of them that strike hands, `Or' of them that are sureties for debts.ಕೈ ಕೊಡುವವರಲ್ಲಿ ಇಲ್ಲವೆ ಸಾಲಕ್ಕೆ ಹೊಣೆಯಾಗುವವರಲ್ಲಿ ನೀನು ಒಬ್ಬ ನಾಗಬೇಡ.

27 If thou hast not wherewith to pay, Why should he take away thy bed from under thee?ಸಲ್ಲಿಸುವದಕ್ಕೆ ನಿನಗೆ ಏನೂ ಇಲ್ಲದೆ ಹೋದರೆ ನಿನ್ನ ಕೆಳಗಿನ ಹಾಸಿಗೆಯನ್ನು ಅವನು ತೆಗೆದು ಕೊಂಡು ಹೋಗುವದು ಯಾಕೆ?

28 Remove not the ancient landmark, Which thy fathers have set.ನಿನ್ನ ಪಿತೃಗಳು ಹಾಕಿದ ಪೂರ್ವಕಾಲದ ಮೇರೆಯನ್ನು ತೆಗೆಯಬೇಡ.

29 Seest thou a man diligent in his business? he shall stand before kings; He shall not stand before mean men.ತನ್ನ ಕೆಲಸದಲ್ಲಿ ಶ್ರದ್ಧೆಯುಳ್ಳವನನ್ನು ನೀನು ನೋಡಿ ದ್ದೀಯಾ? ಅವನು ನೀಚರ ಮುಂದೆ ಅಲ್ಲ, ಅರಸರ ಮುಂದೆಯೇ ನಿಲ್ಲುವನು.
