Proverbs 22 - BBE (Kannada)

1 A good name is more to be desired than great wealth, and to be respected is better than silver and gold.ಬಹು ಐಶ್ವರ್ಯಕ್ಕಿಂತಲೂ ಒಳ್ಳೆಯ ಹೆಸರನ್ನೂ ಬೆಳ್ಳಿ ಬಂಗಾರಕ್ಕಿಂತ ಪ್ರೀತಿಯ ದಯವನ್ನೂ ಆರಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವದು ಉತ್ತಮ.

2 The man of wealth and the poor man come face to face: the Lord is the maker of them all.ಧನಿಕರು, ಬಡವರು ಒಟ್ಟಾಗಿ ಸಂಧಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ; ಅವರೆಲ್ಲರನ್ನು ಸೃಷ್ಟಿಸಿದಾತನು ಕರ್ತನೇ.

3 The sharp man sees the evil and takes cover: the simple go straight on and get into trouble.ಜಾಣನು ಕೇಡನ್ನು ಮುಂದಾಗಿ ನೋಡಿ ಅಡಗಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಾನೆ; ಬುದ್ಧಿಹೀನರು ಮುಂದೆ ಹೋಗಿ ಶಿಕ್ಷೆಯನ್ನು ಹೊಂದುತ್ತಾರೆ.

4 The reward of a gentle spirit and the fear of the Lord is wealth and honour and life.ಐಶ್ವ ರ್ಯವೂ ಮಾನವೂ ಜೀವವೂ ವಿನಯ ಕರ್ತನ ಭಯದಿಂದಲೇ.

5 Thorns and nets are in the way of the twisted: he who keeps watch over his soul will be far from them.ಮೂಢರ ದಾರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮುಳ್ಳು ಗಳೂ ಉರುಲುಗಳೂ ಇವೆ; ತನ್ನ ಪ್ರಾಣವನ್ನು ಕಾಪಾ ಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವವನು ಅವುಗಳಿಂದ ದೂರವಾಗಿರುವನು.

6 If a child is trained up in the right way, even when he is old he will not be turned away from it.ನಡೆಯಬೇಕಾದ ಮಾರ್ಗದಲ್ಲಿರುವಂತೆ ಹುಡುಗನಿಗೆ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣಕೊಡು; ಆಗ ಮುಪ್ಪಿನಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಅವನು ಅದ ರಿಂದ ಹೊರಟು ಹೋಗುವದಿಲ್ಲ.

7 The man of wealth has rule over the poor, and he who gets into debt is a servant to his creditor.ಐಶ್ವರ್ಯವಂತನು ಬಡವನ ಮೇಲೆ ಆಳುತ್ತಾನೆ. ಸಾಲಗಾರನು ಸಾಲಕೊಟ್ಟ ವನಿಗೆ ಸೇವಕನು.

8 By planting the seed of evil a man will get in the grain of sorrow, and the rod of his wrath will be broken.ಕೆಟ್ಟತನವನ್ನು ಬಿತ್ತುವವನು ವ್ಯರ್ಥ ವನ್ನು ಕೊಯ್ಯುವನು; ಅವನ ಕೋಪದ ದಂಡವು ಬಿದ್ದುಹೋಗುವದು.

9 He who is kind will have a blessing, for he gives of his bread to the poor.ದಯಾದೃಷ್ಟಿಯುಳ್ಳವನು ಆಶೀ ರ್ವಾದವನ್ನು ಹೊಂದುವನು; ತನಗಿದ್ದ ಆಹಾರದಲ್ಲಿ ಬಡವರಿಗೆ ಕೊಡುತ್ತಾನೆ.

10 Send away the man of pride, and argument will go out; truly fighting and shame will come to an end.ಪರಿಹಾಸ್ಯ ಮಾಡುವವ ನನ್ನು ಹೊರಗೆ ತಳ್ಳಿಬಿಟ್ಟರೆ ಕಲಹವು ನಿಲ್ಲುವದು; ಹೌದು, ವಿವಾದವೂ ನಿಂದೆಯೂ ನಿಂತುಹೋಗು ವವು.

11 He whose heart is clean is dear to the Lord; for the grace of his lips the king will be his friend.ಹೃದಯ ಶುದ್ಧಿಯನ್ನು ಪ್ರೀತಿಸುವವನಿಗೆ ತನ್ನ ತುಟಿಗಳ ಕೃಪೆಗಾಗಿ ಅರಸನು ಅವನಿಗೆ ಸ್ನೇಹಿತ ನಾಗಿರುವನು.

12 The eyes of the Lord keep knowledge, but by him the acts of the false man will be overturned.ಕರ್ತನ ಕಣ್ಣುಗಳು ತಿಳುವಳಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಕಾಪಾಡುತ್ತವೆ; ಆತನು ದೋಷಿಯ ಮಾತುಗಳನ್ನು ಕೆಡವಿಹಾಕುತ್ತಾನೆ.

13 The hater of work says, There is a lion outside: I will be put to death in the streets.ಸೋಮಾರಿಯು--ಹೊರಗೆ ಸಿಂಹವಿದೆ; ಅದು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಬೀದಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಕೊಂದು ಹಾಕುತ್ತದೆ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾನೆ.

14 The mouth of strange women is a deep hole: he with whom the Lord is angry will go down into it.ಪರಸ್ತ್ರೀಯ ಬಾಯಿ ಆಳವಾದ ಕುಣಿ; ಕರ್ತನಿಗೆ ಅಸಹ್ಯವಾದವನು ಅದರಲ್ಲಿ ಬೀಳುವನು.

15 Foolish ways are deep-seated in the heart of a child, but the rod of punishment will send them far from him.ಮೂರ್ಖತನವು ಹುಡುಗನ ಹೃದಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಕಟ್ಟಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿದೆ. ಶಿಕ್ಷೆಯ ಬೆತ್ತವು ಅದನ್ನು ಅವನಿಂದ ದೂರವಾಗಿ ಓಡಿಸಿಬಿಡುವದು.

16 He who is cruel to the poor for the purpose of increasing his profit, and he who gives to the man of wealth, will only come to be in need.ತನ್ನ ಐಶ್ವರ್ಯವನ್ನು ವೃದ್ಧಿಗೊಳಿಸುವದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಬಡವರನ್ನು ಹಿಂಸಿಸುವವನೂ ಐಶ್ವರ್ಯವಂತರಿಗೆ ಕೊಡುವವನೂ ನಿಶ್ಚಯವಾಗಿ ಕೊರತೆಪಡುವನು.

17 Let your ear be bent down for hearing my words, and let your heart give thought to knowledge.ಕಿವಿಗೊಟ್ಟು ಜ್ಞಾನಿ ಗಳ ಮಾತನ್ನು ಕೇಳು; ನನ್ನ ತಿಳುವಳಿಕೆಗೆ ನಿನ್ನ ಹೃದಯ ವನ್ನು ಪ್ರಯೋಗಿಸು.

18 For it is a delight to keep them in your heart, to have them ready on your lips.ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ನಿನ್ನೊಳಗೆ ಕಾಪಾಡಿದರೆ ಅದು ರಮ್ಯವಾಗಿದೆ; ಅವು ನಿನ್ನ ತುಟಿ ಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಹೊಂದಿಕೊಂಡಿರುವವು.

19 So that your faith may be in the Lord, I have made them clear to you this day, even to you.ನಿನ್ನ ಭರವಸವು ಕರ್ತನಲ್ಲಿ ಇರುವಂತೆ ನಿನಗೆ ಈ ದಿವಸ ತಿಳಿಯ ಪಡಿಸಿದ್ದೇನೆ.

20 Have I not put in writing for you thirty sayings, with wise suggestions and knowledge,ಸತ್ಯದ ಮಾತುಗಳ ಸ್ಥಿರತೆಯನ್ನು ನಾನು ನಿನಗೆ ತಿಳಿಯಪಡಿಸುವಂತೆಯೂ ನಿನ್ನ ಕಡೆಗೆ ಕಳುಹಿ ಸಿದವರಿಗೆ

21 To make you see how certain are true words, so that you may give a true answer to those who put questions to you?ನೀನು ಸತ್ಯದ ಮಾತುಗಳನ್ನು ಉತ್ತರಿ ಸುವಂತೆಯೂ ಆಲೋಚನೆಗಳ ತಿಳುವಳಿಕೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಶ್ರೇಷ್ಠವಾದ ಸಂಗತಿಗಳನ್ನು ನಿನಗೆ ಬರೆಯಲಿಲ್ಲವೋ?

22 Do not take away the property of the poor man because he is poor, or be cruel to the crushed ones when they come before the judge:ಅವನು ಬಡವನೆಂದು ಬಡವನನ್ನು ಸೂರೆಮಾಡ ಬೇಡ; ಮಾತ್ರವಲ್ಲದೆ ದ್ವಾರದಲ್ಲಿ ದರಿದ್ರರನ್ನು ಹಿಂಸಿಸ ಬೇಡ.

23 For the Lord will give support to their cause, and take the life of those who take their goods.ಕರ್ತನು ಅವರ ವ್ಯಾಜ್ಯವನ್ನು ನಡಿಸಿ ಸೂರೆ ಮಾಡಿದವರ ಪ್ರಾಣವನ್ನು ಸೂರೆಮಾಡುವನು.

24 Do not be friends with a man who is given to wrath; do not go in the company of an angry man:ಸಿಟ್ಟುಗಾರನೊಂದಿಗೆ ಸ್ನೇಹಮಾಡಬೇಡ; ಕೋಪಿ ಷ್ಠನ ಸಂಗಡ ನೀನು ಹೋಗಬೇಡ.

25 For fear of learning his ways and making a net ready for your soul.ಹಾಗೆ ಮಾಡಿ ದರೆ ನೀನು ಅವನ ನಡತೆಗಳನ್ನು ಕಲಿತು ನಿನ್ನ ಪ್ರಾಣಕ್ಕೆ ಉರ್ಲನ್ನು ಸಿಕ್ಕಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವಿ.

26 Be not one of those who give their hands in an agreement, or of those who make themselves responsible for debts:ಕೈ ಕೊಡುವವರಲ್ಲಿ ಇಲ್ಲವೆ ಸಾಲಕ್ಕೆ ಹೊಣೆಯಾಗುವವರಲ್ಲಿ ನೀನು ಒಬ್ಬ ನಾಗಬೇಡ.

27 If you have nothing with which to make payment, he will take away your bed from under you.ಸಲ್ಲಿಸುವದಕ್ಕೆ ನಿನಗೆ ಏನೂ ಇಲ್ಲದೆ ಹೋದರೆ ನಿನ್ನ ಕೆಳಗಿನ ಹಾಸಿಗೆಯನ್ನು ಅವನು ತೆಗೆದು ಕೊಂಡು ಹೋಗುವದು ಯಾಕೆ?

28 Let not the old landmark be moved which your fathers have put in place.ನಿನ್ನ ಪಿತೃಗಳು ಹಾಕಿದ ಪೂರ್ವಕಾಲದ ಮೇರೆಯನ್ನು ತೆಗೆಯಬೇಡ.

29 Have you seen a man who is expert in his business? he will take his place before kings; his place will not be among low persons.ತನ್ನ ಕೆಲಸದಲ್ಲಿ ಶ್ರದ್ಧೆಯುಳ್ಳವನನ್ನು ನೀನು ನೋಡಿ ದ್ದೀಯಾ? ಅವನು ನೀಚರ ಮುಂದೆ ಅಲ್ಲ, ಅರಸರ ಮುಂದೆಯೇ ನಿಲ್ಲುವನು.
