Proverbs 26 - ASV (Kannada)

1 As snow in summer, and as rain in harvest, So honor is not seemly for a fool.ಬೇಸಿಗೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹಿಮದಂತೆಯೂ ಸುಗ್ಗಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮಳೆಯಂತೆಯೂ ಬುದ್ಧಿಹೀನನಿಗೆ ಮಾನ ವು ಸರಿಯಲ್ಲ.

2 As the sparrow in her wandering, as the swallow in her flying, So the curse that is causeless alighteth not.ಅಲೆದಾಡುವ ಪಕ್ಷಿಯಂತೆಯೂ ಹಾರಾ ಡುವ ಬಾನಕ್ಕಿಯಂತೆಯೂ ಕಾರಣವಿಲ್ಲದ ನಾಶವು ಬರುವದಿಲ್ಲ.

3 A whip for the horse, a bridle for the ass, And a rod for the back of fools.ಕುದುರೆಗೆ ಬಾರುಗೋಲು, ಕತ್ತೆಗೆ ಕಡಿ ವಾಣ, ಮೂಢನ ಬೆನ್ನಿಗೆ ಬೆತ್ತ.

4 Answer not a fool according to his folly, Lest thou also be like unto him.ಮೂಢನ ಮೂರ್ಖ ತನಕ್ಕೆ ತಕ್ಕಂತೆ ಉತ್ತರಿಸಬೇಡ; ಇಲ್ಲವಾದರೆ ನೀನು ಅವನಿಗೆ ಸಮಾನನಾದೀಯೇ.

5 Answer a fool according to his folly, Lest he be wise in his own conceit.ಮೂಢನ ಮೂರ್ಖ ತನಕ್ಕೆ ತಕ್ಕಂತೆ ಉತ್ತರಕೊಡು; ಇಲ್ಲವಾದರೆ ತನ್ನ ದೃಷ್ಟಿ ಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅವನು ಜ್ಞಾನಿಯಾದಾನು.

6 He that sendeth a message by the hand of a fool Cutteth off `his own' feet, `and' drinketh in damage.ಬುದ್ಧಿಹೀನನ ಮೂಲಕ ವರ್ತಮಾನ ಕಳುಹಿಸುವವನು ಪಾದಗಳನ್ನು ಕಡಿದು ಕೇಡನ್ನು ಕುಡಿಯುತ್ತಾನೆ.

7 The legs of the lame hang loose: So is a parable in the mouth of fools.ಕುಂಟನ ಕಾಲು ಗಳು ಸಮವಲ್ಲ; ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಬುದ್ಧಿಹೀನರ ಬಾಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸಾಮ್ಯವು ಇರುತ್ತದೆ.

8 As one that bindeth a stone in a sling, So is he that giveth honor to a fool.ಕವಣಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕಲ್ಲನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟುವವನ ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಮೂಢನಿಗೆ ಮಾನಕೊಡುವವನು ಇರು ವನು.

9 `As' a thorn that goeth up into the hand of a drunkard, So is a parable in the mouth of fools.ಕುಡುಕನ ಕೈಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮುಳ್ಳು ಹೊಕ್ಕಂತೆ ಬುದ್ಧಿ ಹೀನರ ಬಾಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸಾಮ್ಯವು ಇರುವದು.

10 `As' an archer that woundeth all, So is he that hireth a fool and he that hireth them that pass by.ಎಲ್ಲವು ಗಳನ್ನು ನಿರ್ಮಿಸಿದ ಮಹಾ ದೇವರು ತಾನೇ ಮೂಢ ನಿಗೂ ಅಪರಾಧಿಗಳಿಗೂ ಪ್ರತಿಫಲ ಕೊಡುತ್ತಾನೆ.

11 As a dog that returneth to his vomit, `So is' a fool that repeateth his folly.ತಾನು ಕಕ್ಕಿದ್ದಕ್ಕೆ ನಾಯಿಯು ತಿರುಗುವಂತೆ ಮೂಢನು ತನ್ನ ಮೂಢತನಕ್ಕೆ ಹಿಂದಿರುಗುತ್ತಾನೆ.

12 Seest thou a man wise in his own conceit? There is more hope of a fool than of him.ತನ್ನ ಸ್ವಂತ ಅಭಿಪ್ರಾಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಜ್ಞಾನಿಯಾದವನನ್ನು ನೀನು ನೋಡಿ ದ್ದೀಯೋ? ಅವನಿಗಿಂತ ಮೂಢನ ವಿಷಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ನಿರೀಕ್ಷೆಯು ಇರುತ್ತದೆ,

13 The sluggard saith, There is a lion in the way; A lion is in the streets.ಸೋಮಾರಿಯು --ದಾರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸಿಂಹವಿದೆ, ಬೀದಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಸಿಂಹ ಇದೆ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾನೆ.

14 `As' the door turneth upon its hinges, So doth the sluggard upon his bed.ಬಾಗಲು ತಿರುಗುಣಿಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಹೇಗೆ ತಿರುಗುತ್ತದೋ ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಸೋಮಾರಿಯು ತನ್ನ ಹಾಸಿಗೆಯ ಮೇಲೆ ತಿರುಗುತ್ತಾನೆ.

15 The sluggard burieth his hand in the dish; It wearieth him to bring it again to his mouth.ಸೋಮಾ ರಿಯು ಎದೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ತನ್ನ ಕೈಯನ್ನು ಮುಚ್ಚಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಾನೆ; ತಿರುಗಿ ಅದನ್ನು ತನ್ನ ಬಾಯಿಯ ಹತ್ತಿರ ತರುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಕೊರಗುತ್ತಾನೆ.

16 The sluggard is wiser in his own conceit Than seven men that can render a reason.ತನ್ನ ಸ್ವಂತ ಅಭಿಪ್ರಾಯವುಳ್ಳ ಸೋಮಾರಿಯು ನೆವ ಹೇಳುವ ಏಳು ಮಂದಿಗಿಂತ ಜಾಣನಾಗಿದ್ದಾನೆ.

17 He that passeth by, `and' vexeth himself with strife belonging not to him, Is `like' one that taketh a dog by the ears.ಹಾದು ಹೋಗುತ್ತಾ ತನ್ನದಾಗ ದಿರುವ ವ್ಯಾಜ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ತಲೆಹಾಕುವವನು ಕಿವಿಹಿಡಿದು ನಾಯಿಯನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಹೋಗುವವನಂತೆ ಇದ್ದಾನೆ.

18 As a madman who casteth firebrands, Arrows, and death,ನೆರೆಯವನನ್ನು ಮೋಸಗೊಳಿಸಿ ತಮಾಷೆ ಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಮಾಡಿದೆನಲ್ಲಾ ಎನ್ನುವವನು--

19 So is the man that deceiveth his neighbor, And saith, Am not I in sport?ಕೊಳ್ಳಿ ಗಳನ್ನೂ ಅಂಬುಗಳನ್ನೂ ಸಾವನ್ನೂ ಬೀರುವ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಹುಚ್ಚನ ಹಾಗೆ.

20 For lack of wood the fire goeth out; And where there is no whisperer, contention ceaseth.ಕಟ್ಟಿಗೆ ಇಲ್ಲದಿರುವಲ್ಲಿ ಬೆಂಕಿಯು ಆರಿ ಹೋಗುತ್ತದೆ--ಹಾಗಯೇ ಚಾಡಿಕೋರನು ಇಲ್ಲ ದಿರುವಲ್ಲಿ ಜಗಳ ಶಮನವಾಗುವದು.

21 `As' coals are to hot embers, and wood to fire, So is a contentious man to inflame strife.ಕೆಂಡಗಳಿಗೆ ಇದ್ದಲು, ಬೆಂಕಿಗೆ ಕಟ್ಟಿಗೆ; ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಜಗಳವನ್ನು ಕೆರಳಿಸುವಂತೆ ಕಲಹಮಾಡುವವನು ಇರುವನು.

22 The words of a whisperer are as dainty morsels, And they go down into the innermost parts.ಚಾಡಿಕೋರನ ಮಾತುಗಳು ಗಾಯಗಳ ಹಾಗೆ ಹೊಟ್ಟೆಯೊಳಕ್ಕೆ ಇಳಿಯುತ್ತವೆ.

23 Fervent lips and a wicked heart Are `like' an earthen vessel overlaid with silver dross.ಉರಿಯುವ ತುಟಿ ಗಳೂ ಕೆಟ್ಟಹೃದಯವೂ ಬೆಳ್ಳಿಯ ಕಿಟ್ಟದಿಂದ ಮುಚ್ಚ ಲ್ಪಟ್ಟ ಬೋಕಿಯಂತೆ ಇದೆ.

24 He that hateth dissembleth with his lips; But he layeth up deceit within him:ಹಗೆಮಾಡುವವನು ತನ್ನ ತುಟಿಗಳಿಂದ ಮೋಸವನ್ನು ನಟಿಸುತ್ತಾನೆ, ತನ್ನ ಅಂತರಂಗದಲ್ಲಿ ಮೋಸವನ್ನು ಇಟ್ಟುಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಾನೆ.

25 When he speaketh fair, believe him not; For there are seven abominations in his heart:ಸವಿ ಮಾತನ್ನಾಡಿದರೆ ಅವನನ್ನು ನಂಬಬೇಡ; ಅವನ ಹೃದಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಏಳು ಅಸಹ್ಯಗಳಿವೆ.

26 Though `his' hatred cover itself with guile, His wickedness shall be openly showed before the assembly.ಯಾವನ ಹಗೆ ತನವು ಮೋಸದಿಂದ ಮುಚ್ಚಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿದೆಯೋ ಅವನ ಕೆಟ್ಟತನವು ಸಭೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬಯಲಾಗುವದು.

27 Whoso diggeth a pit shall fall therein; And he that rolleth a stone, it shall return upon him.ಗುಂಡಿ ಯನ್ನು ತೋಡುವವನು ತಾನೇ ಅದರಲ್ಲಿ ಬೀಳುತ್ತಾನೆ; ಕಲ್ಲು ಹೊರಳಿಸುವವನ ಮೇಲೆಯೇ ಅದು ತಿರಿಗಿ ಹೊರಳುವದು.

28 A lying tongue hateth those whom it hath wounded; And a flattering mouth worketh ruin.ಸುಳ್ಳು ನಾಲಿಗೆಯಿಂದ ಬಾಧಿಸಲ್ಪ ಟ್ಟವರನ್ನೇ ಅದು ಹಗೆಮಾಡುವದು; ಮುಖಸ್ತುತಿ ಮಾಡುವ ಬಾಯಿಯು ನಾಶನವನ್ನುಂಟುಮಾಡುತ್ತದೆ.
