Psalm 22

1 ನನ್ನ ದೇವರೇ, ನನ್ನ ದೇವರೇ, ಯಾಕೆ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಕೈಬಿಟ್ಟಿದ್ದೀ? ನೀನು ಯಾಕೆ ನನಗೆ ಸಹಾಯ ಮಾಡದೆಯೂ ನನ್ನ ಕೂಗಿಗೆ ಕಿವಿ ಗೊಡದೆಯೂ ದೂರವಾಗಿದ್ದೀ.

2 ಓ ನನ್ನ ದೇವರೇ, ಹಗಲಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಕರೆಯುತ್ತೇನೆ; ನೀನು ಉತ್ತರ ಕೊಡುವದಿಲ್ಲ; ರಾತ್ರಿಯಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ನಾನು ಮೌನವಾಗಿರು ವದಿಲ್ಲ.

3 ಆದರೆ ನೀನು ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧನಾಗಿದ್ದೀ; ನೀನು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಸ್ತೋತ್ರಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸ ಮಾಡುವಾ ತನು.

4 ನಿನ್ನಲ್ಲಿ ನಮ್ಮ ಪಿತೃಗಳು ಭರವಸವಿಟ್ಟರು; ಅವರು ಭರವಸವಿಟ್ಟದ್ದರಿಂದ ನೀನು ಅವರನ್ನು ತಪ್ಪಿ ಸಿದಿ.

5 ನಿನಗೆ ಅವರು ಮೊರೆ ಇಟ್ಟದ್ದರಿಂದ ತಪ್ಪಿಸ ಲ್ಪಟ್ಟರು; ನಿನ್ನಲ್ಲಿ ಭರವಸವಿಟ್ಟದ್ದರಿಂದ ಅವರು ನಾಚಿಕೆ ಪಡಲಿಲ್ಲ.

6 ನಾನು ಹುಳವೇ, ಮನುಷ್ಯನಲ್ಲ; ಮನುಷ್ಯರಿಂದ ನಿಂದಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟವನೂ ಜನರಿಂದ ತಿರಸ್ಕರಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟವನೂ ಆಗಿದ್ದೇನೆ.

7 ನನ್ನನ್ನು ನೋಡುವವರೆಲ್ಲರು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಗೇಲಿ ಮಾಡಿ ನಗುವರು, ಅವರು ತುಟಿ ಅಗಲಮಾಡಿ ತಲೆ ಆಡಿಸುತ್ತಾ--

8 ಆತನು ಕರ್ತನ ಮೇಲೆ ಭರವಸ ವಿಟ್ಟಿದ್ದಾನಲ್ಲಾ; ಆತನು ಅವನನ್ನು ತಪ್ಪಿಸಿ ಅವನನ್ನು ಬಿಡಿಸಲಿ; ಆತನು ಅವನಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂತೋಷಪಡುತ್ತಾ ನಲ್ಲಾ ಅನ್ನುತ್ತಾರೆ.

9 ಆದರೆ ನೀನು ಗರ್ಭದಿಂದ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದಿ; ನನ್ನ ತಾಯಿಯ ಎದೆಯಲ್ಲಿದ್ದಾಗ ನಾನು ನಿರೀಕ್ಷಿಸುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡಿದಿ.

10 ಹುಟ್ಟಿದಂದಿನಿಂದ ನೀನೇ ನನಗೆ ಆಧಾರ; ನನ್ನ ತಾಯಿಯ ಹೊಟ್ಟೆಯಿಂದ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಬರಮಾಡಿದ ನನ್ನ ದೇವರು ನೀನೇ ಆಗಿದ್ದೀ.

11 ನನ್ನಿಂದ ದೂರವಾಗಿರಬೇಡ; ಇಕ್ಕಟ್ಟು ಸವಿಾಪ ವಾಗಿದೆ; ನನಗೆ ಸಹಾಯಕನು ಯಾರೂ ಇಲ್ಲ.

12 ಬಹಳ ಹೋರಿಗಳು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಸುತ್ತಿಕೊಂಡಿವೆ; ಬಾಷಾನಿನ ಬಲವಾದ ಹೋರಿಗಳು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಮುತ್ತಿ ಕೊಂಡಿವೆ.

13 ಹರಿದು ಬಿಡುವಂಥ ಗರ್ಜಿಸುವ ಸಿಂಹದ ಹಾಗೆ ನನ್ನ ಮೇಲೆ ತಮ್ಮ ಬಾಯಿ ತೆರೆದಿ ದ್ದಾರೆ.

14 ನಾನು ನೀರಿನ ಹಾಗೆ ಹೊಯ್ಯಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿದ್ದೇನೆ; ನನ್ನ ಎಲುಬುಗಳೆಲ್ಲಾ ಕೀಲು ತಪ್ಪಿವೆ; ನನ್ನ ಹೃದ ಯವು ಮೇಣದ ಹಾಗೆ ನನ್ನ ಕರುಳುಗಳ ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಕರಗಿಹೋಗಿದೆ.

15 ನನ್ನ ಶಕ್ತಿ ಬೋಕಿಯ ಹಾಗೆ ಒಣಗಿ ಹೋಗಿದೆ; ನನ್ನ ನಾಲಿಗೆ ಅಂಗಳಕ್ಕೆ ಹತ್ತುತ್ತದೆ; ಮರಣದ ಧೂಳಿಗೆ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಬರಮಾಡಿದಿ.

16 ನಾಯಿ ಗಳು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಸುತ್ತಿಕೊಂಡಿವೆ; ದುರ್ಮಾರ್ಗಿಗಳ ಸಭೆಯು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಮುತ್ತಿಕೊಂಡಿದೆ; ಅವರು ನನ್ನ ಕೈಗಳನ್ನೂ ಕಾಲುಗಳನ್ನೂ ತಿವಿದಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

17 ನನ್ನ ಎಲು ಬುಗಳನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಎಣಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ; ಅವರು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ದೃಷ್ಟಿಸಿ ನೋಡುತ್ತಾರೆ.

18 ನನ್ನ ವಸ್ತ್ರಗಳನ್ನು ತಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿ ಪಾಲು ಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಾರೆ. ನನ್ನ ಅಂಗಿಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಚೀಟು ಹಾಕುತ್ತಾರೆ.

19 ಆದರೆ ಓ ಕರ್ತನೇ, ನೀನು ನನ್ನಿಂದ ದೂರವಾಗಿರಬೇಡ; ಓ ನನ್ನ ಬಲವೇ, ನನ್ನ ಸಹಾಯಕ್ಕೆ ತ್ವರೆಪಡು.

20 ನನ್ನ ಪ್ರಾಣವನ್ನು ಕತ್ತಿಯಿಂದಲೂ ನನಗೆ ಪ್ರಿಯವಾದದ್ದನ್ನು ನಾಯಿಯ ಬಲದಿಂದಲೂ ಬಿಡಿಸು.

21 ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಸಿಂಹದ ಬಾಯಿಂದ ರಕ್ಷಿಸು; ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಕಾಡುಕೋಣಗಳ ಕೊಂಬುಗಳಿಂದ ತಪ್ಪಿಸಿ ಉತ್ತರ ಕೊಟ್ಟೆಯಲ್ಲಾ.

22 ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನ ಹೆಸರನ್ನು ನನ್ನ ಸಹೋದರರಿಗೆ ಸಾರುವೆನು; ಕೂಟದ ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಸ್ತುತಿಸುವೆನು.

23 ಕರ್ತನಿಗೆ ಭಯಪಡುವವರೇ, ಆತನನ್ನು ಸ್ತುತಿಸಿರಿ; ಯಾಕೋಬಿನ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಸಂತಾನದವರೇ, ಆತನನ್ನು ಘನಪಡಿಸಿರಿ; ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಸಂತಾನದವರೇ, ಆತನಿಗೆ ಭಯಪಡಿರಿ.

24 ಸಂಕಟ ಪಡುವವನ ಸಂಕಟ ವನ್ನು ಆತನು ತಿರಸ್ಕರಿಸಲಿಲ್ಲ, ಅಸಹ್ಯಿಸಲಿಲ್ಲ; ತನ್ನ ಮುಖವನ್ನು ಅವನಿಂದ ಮರೆಮಾಡಲಿಲ್ಲ; ಆದರೆ ಅವನು ಮೊರೆಯಿಡಲು ಆತನು ಕೇಳಿದನು.

25 ಮಹಾ ಸಭೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಕುರಿತು ನನ್ನ ಸ್ತೋತ್ರವು ನಿನಗಿ ರುವದು; ನನ್ನ ಪ್ರಮಾಣಗಳನ್ನು ಆತನಿಗೆ ಭಯಪಡು ವವರ ಮುಂದೆ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸುವೆನು.

26 ದೀನರು ಉಂಡು ತೃಪ್ತಿಯಾಗುವರು; ಕರ್ತನನ್ನು ಹುಡುಕುವವರು ಆತನನ್ನು ಸ್ತುತಿಸುವರು; ನಿಮ್ಮ ಹೃದಯವು ಎಂದೆಂದಿಗೂ ಬದುಕುವದು.

27 ಲೋಕದಂತ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಜನರು ಜ್ಞಾಪಕ ಮಾಡಿ ಕರ್ತನ ಕಡೆಗೆ ತಿರಿಗಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವರು; ಜನಾಂಗ ಗಳ ಗೋತ್ರಗಳೆಲ್ಲರೂ ನಿನ್ನ ಮುಂದೆ ಆರಾಧಿಸುವರು.

28 ರಾಜ್ಯವು ಕರ್ತನದೇ; ಜನಾಂಗಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಆಳುವಾತನು ಆತನೇ.

29 ಭೂಮಿಯ ಪುಷ್ಟರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಉಂಡು ಆರಾಧಿಸುವರು; ತಮ್ಮ ಪ್ರಾಣವನ್ನು ಬದುಕಿಸಲಾರದೆ ಧೂಳಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಇಳಿಯುವವರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಆತನ ಮುಂದೆ ಅಡ್ಡಬೀಳುವರು.

30 ಒಂದು ಸಂತಾನವು ಆತನನ್ನು ಸೇವಿಸುವದು. ಅದು ಕರ್ತನ ಸಂತತಿ ಎಂದು ಎಣಿಸ ಲ್ಪಡುವದು.

31 ಅವರು ಬಂದು ಆತನೇ ಇದನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾನೆಂದೂ ಆತನ ನೀತಿಯನ್ನೂ ಹುಟ್ಟಲಿರುವ ಜನರಿಗೆ ತಿಳಿಸುವರು.

2 My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me? why art thou so far from helping me, and from the words of my roaring?

3 O my God, I cry in the daytime, but thou hearest not; and in the night season, and am not silent.

4 But thou art holy, O thou that inhabitest the praises of Israel.

5 Our fathers trusted in thee: they trusted, and thou didst deliver them.

6 They cried unto thee, and were delivered: they trusted in thee, and were not confounded.

7 But I am a worm, and no man; a reproach of men, and despised of the people.

8 All they that see me laugh me to scorn: they shoot out the lip, they shake the head, saying,

9 He trusted on the Lord that he would deliver him: let him deliver him, seeing he delighted in him.

10 But thou art he that took me out of the womb: thou didst make me hope when I was upon my mother’s breasts.

11 I was cast upon thee from the womb: thou art my God from my mother’s belly.

12 Be not far from me; for trouble is near; for there is none to help.

13 Many bulls have compassed me: strong bulls of Bashan have beset me round.

14 They gaped upon me with their mouths, as a ravening and a roaring lion.

15 I am poured out like water, and all my bones are out of joint: my heart is like wax; it is melted in the midst of my bowels.

16 My strength is dried up like a potsherd; and my tongue cleaveth to my jaws; and thou hast brought me into the dust of death.

17 For dogs have compassed me: the assembly of the wicked have inclosed me: they pierced my hands and my feet.

18 I may tell all my bones: they look and stare upon me.

19 They part my garments among them, and cast lots upon my vesture.

20 But be not thou far from me, O Lord: O my strength, haste thee to help me.

21 Deliver my soul from the sword; my darling from the power of the dog.

22 Save me from the lion’s mouth: for thou hast heard me from the horns of the unicorns.

23 I will declare thy name unto my brethren: in the midst of the congregation will I praise thee.

24 Ye that fear the Lord, praise him; all ye the seed of Jacob, glorify him; and fear him, all ye the seed of Israel.

25 For he hath not despised nor abhorred the affliction of the afflicted; neither hath he hid his face from him; but when he cried unto him, he heard.

26 My praise shall be of thee in the great congregation: I will pay my vows before them that fear him.

27 The meek shall eat and be satisfied: they shall praise the Lord that seek him: your heart shall live for ever.

28 All the ends of the world shall remember and turn unto the Lord: and all the kindreds of the nations shall worship before thee.

29 For the kingdom is the Lord’s: and he is the governor among the nations.

30 All they that be fat upon earth shall eat and worship: all they that go down to the dust shall bow before him: and none can keep alive his own soul.

31 A seed shall serve him; it shall be accounted to the Lord for a generation.

32 They shall come, and shall declare his righteousness unto a people that shall be born, that he hath done this.
