1 கர்த்தர் மோசேயை நோக்கி: And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,

2 பின்னும் நீ இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரரோடே சொல்லவேண்டியது என்னவென்றால்: இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரரிலும் இஸ்ரவேலில் வாசம்பண்ணுகிற அந்நியர்களிலும் எவனாகிலும் தன் சந்ததியில் ஒரு பிள்ளையை மோளேகுக்குக் கொடுத்தால், அவன் கொலை செய்யப்படவேண்டும்; தேசத்தின் ஜனங்கள் அவன்மேல் கல்லெறியவேண்டும். Again, thou shalt say to the children of Israel, Whosoever he be of the children of Israel, or of the strangers that sojourn in Israel, that giveth any of his seed unto Molech; he shall surely be put to death: the people of the land shall stone him with stones.

3 அவன் என் பரிசுத்த ஸ்தலத்தைத் தீட்டுப்படுத்தி, என் பரிசுத்த நாமத்தைப் பரிசுத்தக் குலைச்சலாக்கும்படிக்கு, தன் சந்ததியில் ஒரு பிள்ளையை மோளேகுக்குக் கொடுத்ததினாலே, நான் அப்படிப்பட்டவனுக்கு விரோதமாக எதிர்த்து நின்று அவனைத் தன் ஜனத்தில் இராதபடிக்கு அறுப்புண்டு போகப்பண்ணுவேன். And I will set my face against that man, and will cut him off from among his people; because he hath given of his seed unto Molech, to defile my sanctuary, and to profane my holy name.

Then I will set my face against that man, and against his family, and will cut him off, and all that go a whoring after him, to commit whoredom with Molech, from among their people.

6 அஞ்சனம் பார்க்கிறவர்களையும், குறிசொல்லுகிறவர்களையும், பின்தொடர்ந்து சோரம்போக எந்த ஆத்துமா அவர்களை நாடுகிறானோ, அந்த ஆத்துமாவுக்கு விரோதமாக எதிர்த்துநின்று, அவனைத் தன் ஜனத்திலிராதபடிக்கு அறுப்புண்டுபோகப்பண்ணுவேன். And the soul that turneth after such as have familiar spirits, and after wizards, to go a whoring after them, I will even set my face against that soul, and will cut him off from among his people.

7 ஆதலால் நீங்கள் உங்களைப் பரிசுத்தப்படுத்திப் பரிசுத்தராயிருங்கள்; நான் உங்கள் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர். Sanctify yourselves therefore, and be ye holy: for I am the LORD your God.

8 என் கட்டளைகளைக் கைக்கொண்டு நடவுங்கள்; நான் உங்களைப் பரிசுத்தமாக்குகிற கர்த்தர். And ye shall keep my statutes, and do them: I am the LORD which sanctify you.

9 தன் தகப்பனையாவது தன் தாயையாவது சபிக்கிற எவனும் கொலைசெய்யப்படக்கடவன்; அவன் தன் தகப்பனையும் தன் தாயையும் சபித்தான், அவன் இரத்தப்பழி அவன்மேல் இருப்பதாக. For every one that curseth his father or his mother shall be surely put to death: he hath cursed his father or his mother; his blood shall be upon him.

10 ஒருவன் பிறனுடைய மனைவியோடே விபசாரம் செய்தால், பிறன் மனைவியோடே விபசாரம் செய்த அந்த விபசாரனும் அந்த விபசாரியும் கொலைசெய்யப்படக்கடவர்கள். And the man that committeth adultery with another man's wife, even he that committeth adultery with his neighbor's wife, the adulterer and the adulteress shall surely be put to death.

11 தன் தகப்பன் மனைவியோடே சயனிக்கிறவன் தன் தகப்பனை நிர்வாணமாக்கினபடியால், இருவரும் கொலைசெய்யப்படக்கடவர்கள்; அவர்கள் இரத்தப்பழி அவர்கள்மேல் இருப்பதாக. And the man that lieth with his father's wife hath uncovered his father's nakedness: both of them shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.

12 ஒருவன் தன் மருமகளோடே சயனித்தால், இருவரும் கொலை செய்யப்படக்கடவர்கள்; அருவருப்பான தாறுமாறு பண்ணினார்கள்; அவர்கள் இரத்தப்பழி அவர்கள்மேல் இருப்பதாக. And if a man lie with his daughter in law, both of them shall surely be put to death: they have wrought confusion; their blood shall be upon them.

13 ஒருவன் பெண்ணோடே சம்யோகம்பண்ணுகிறதுபோல ஆணோடே சம்யோகம்பண்ணினால், அருவருப்பானகாரியம் செய்த அவ்விருவரும் கொலை செய்யப்படக்கடவர்கள் அவர்கள் இரத்தப்பழி அவர்கள்மேல் இருப்பதாக. If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.

14 ஒருவன் ஒரு ஸ்திரீயையும் அவள் தாயையும் படைத்தால், அது முறைகேடு; இவ்வித முறைகேடு உங்களுக்குள் இராதபடிக்கு, அவனையும் அவர்களையும் அக்கினியில் சுட்டெரிக்கவேண்டும். And if a man take a wife and her mother, it is wickedness: they shall be burnt with fire, both he and they; that there be no wickedness among you.

15 ஒருவன் மிருகத்தோடே புணர்ந்தால், அவன் கொலைசெய்யப்படக்கடவன்; அந்த மிருகத்தையும் கொல்லக்கடவீர்கள். And if a man lie with a beast, he shall surely be put to death: and ye shall slay the beast.

16 ஒரு ஸ்திரீ யாதொரு மிருகத்தோடே சேர்ந்து சயனித்தால், அந்த ஸ்திரீயையும் அந்த மிருகத்தையும் கொல்லக்கடவாய்; இரு ஜீவனும் கொலைசெய்யப்படவேண்டும்; அவைகளின் இரத்தப்பழி அவைகளின்மேல் இருப்பதாக. And if a woman approach unto any beast, and lie down thereto, thou shalt kill the woman, and the beast: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.

17 ஒருவன் தன் தகப்பனுக்காவது தன் தாய்க்காவது குமாரத்தியாயிருக்கிற தன் சகோதரியைச் சேர்த்துக்கொண்டு, அவன் அவளுடைய நிர்வாணத்தையும், அவள் அவனுடைய நிர்வாணத்தையும் பார்த்தால் அது பாதகம்; அவர்கள் தங்கள் ஜனங்களின் கண்களுக்கு முன்பாக அறுப்புண்டு போகக்கடவர்கள்; அவன் தன் சகோதரியை நிர்வாணப்படுத்தினான்; அவன் தன் அக்கிரமத்தைச் சுமப்பான். And if a man shall take his sister, his father's daughter, or his mother's daughter, and see her nakedness, and she see his nakedness; it is a wicked thing; and they shall be cut off in the sight of their people: he hath uncovered his sister's nakedness; he shall bear his iniquity.

18 ஒருவன் சூதக ஸ்திரீயோடே சயனித்து, அவளை நிர்வாணமாக்கினால், அவன் அவளுடைய உதிர ஊற்றைத் திறந்து, அவளும் தன் உதிர ஊற்றை வெளிப்படுத்தினபடியால், இருவரும் தங்கள் ஜனத்தில் இராதபடிக்கு அறுப்புண்டுபோகவேண்டும். And if a man shall lie with a woman having her sickness, and shall uncover her nakedness; he hath discovered her fountain, and she hath uncovered the fountain of her blood: and both of them shall be cut off from among their people.

19 உன் தாயினுடைய சகோதரியையும் உன் தகப்பனுடைய சகோதரியையும் நிர்வாணமாக்காயாக, அப்படிப்பட்டவன் தன் நெருங்கிய இனத்தை அவமானமாக்கினான்; அவர்கள் தங்கள் அக்கிரமத்தைச் சுமப்பார்கள். And thou shalt not uncover the nakedness of thy mother's sister, nor of thy father's sister: for he uncovereth his near kin: they shall bear their iniquity.

20 ஒருவன் தன் தகப்பனின் சகோதரனுடைய மனைவியோடே சயனித்தால் அவன் தன் தகப்பனின் சகோதரனை நிர்வாணமாக்கினான், அவர்கள் தங்கள் பாவத்தைச் சுமப்பார்கள், சந்தானமில்லாமல் சாவார்கள். And if a man shall lie with his uncle's wife, he hath uncovered his uncle's nakedness: they shall bear their sin; they shall die childless.

21 ஒருவன் தன் சகோதரனுடைய மனைவியை விவாகம்பண்ணினால், அது அசுத்தம்; தன் சகோதரனை நிர்வாணமாக்கினான், அவர்கள் சந்தானமற்றிருப்பார்கள். And if a man shall take his brother's wife, it is an unclean thing: he hath uncovered his brother's nakedness; they shall be childless.

22 ஆகையால் நீங்கள் குடியிருப்பதற்காக நான் உங்களைக் கொண்டுபோகிற தேசம் உங்களைக் கக்கிக்போடாதபடிக்கு, நீங்கள் என் கட்டளைகள் யாவையும் கைக்கொண்டு நடவுங்கள். Ye shall therefore keep all my statutes, and all my judgments, and do them: that the land, whither I bring you to dwell therein, spue you not out.

23 நான் உங்களுக்கு முன்பாகத் துரத்திவிடுகிற ஜனத்தினுடைய வழிபாடுகளில் நடவாதிருங்கள்; அவர்கள் இப்படிப்பட்ட காரியங்களையெல்லாம் செய்தபடியால் நான் அவர்களை அரோசித்தேன். And ye shall not walk in the manners of the nation, which I cast out before you: for they committed all these things, and therefore I abhorred them.

24 நீங்கள் அவர்கள் தேசத்தைச் சுதந்தரிப்பீர்கள் என்று உங்களோடே சொன்னேன்; பாலும் தேனும் ஓடுகிற அந்த தேசத்தை உங்களுக்குச் சுதந்தரமாகக் கொடுப்பேன்; உங்களை மற்ற ஜனங்களை விட்டுப் பிரித்தெடுத்த உங்கள் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் நானே. But I have said unto you, Ye shall inherit their land, and I will give it unto you to possess it, a land that floweth with milk and honey: I am the LORD your God, which have separated you from other people.

25 ஆகையால் சுத்தமான மிருகங்களுக்கும் அசுத்தமான மிருகங்களுக்கும், சுத்தமான பறவைகளுக்கும் அசுத்தமான பறவைகளுக்கும் நீங்கள் வித்தியாசம் பண்ணி, நான் உங்களுக்குத் தீட்டாக எண்ணச் சொல்லி விலக்கின மிருகங்களாலும் பறவைகளாலும் தரையிலே ஊருகிற யாதொரு பிராணிகளாலும் உங்களை அருவருப்பாக்காதிருப்பீர்களாக. Ye shall therefore put difference between clean beasts and unclean, and between unclean fowls and clean: and ye shall not make your souls abominable by beast, or by fowl, or by any manner of living thing that creepeth on the ground, which I have separated from you as unclean.

26 கர்த்தராகிய நான் பரிசுத்தராயிருக்கிறபடியினாலே நீங்களும் எனக்கேற்ற பரிசுத்தவான்களாயிருப்பீர்களாக, நீங்கள் என்னுடையவர்களாயிருக்கும்படிக்கு, உங்களை மற்ற ஜனங்களை விட்டுப் பிரித்தெடுத்தேன். And ye shall be holy unto me: for I the LORD am holy, and have severed you from other people, that ye should be mine.

27 அஞ்சனம்பார்க்கிறவர்களும் குறிசொல்லுகிறவர்களுமாயிருக்கிற புருஷனாகிலும் ஸ்திரீயாகிலும் கொலைசெய்யப்படவேண்டும்; அவர்கள்மேல் கல்லெறிவார்களாக; அவர்கள் இரத்தப்பழி அவர்கள்மேல் இருக்கக்கடவது என்று சொல் என்றார். A man also or woman that hath a familiar spirit, or that is a wizard, shall surely be put to death: they shall stone them with stones: their blood shall be upon them.

1 Karththar Mosesyai Nnokki: And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,

2 Pinnum nee Israel puththirarotae sollavaenntiyathu ennavental: Israel puththirarilum isravaelil vaasampannnukira anniyarkalilum evanaakilum than santhathiyil oru pillaiyai molaekukkuk koduththaal, avan kolai seyyappadavaenndum; thaesaththin janangal avanmael kalleriyavaenndum. Again, thou shalt say to the children of Israel, Whosoever he be of the children of Israel, or of the strangers that sojourn in Israel, that giveth any of his seed unto Molech; he shall surely be put to death: the people of the land shall stone him with stones.

3 Avan en Parisuththa sthalaththaith theettuppaduththi, en Parisuththa naamaththaip Parisuththak kulaichchalaakkumpatikku, than santhathiyil oru pillaiyai molaekukkuk koduththathinaalae, naan appatippattavanukku virothamaaka ethirththu nintu avanaith than janaththil iraathapatikku araுppunndu pokappannnuvaen. 4 Avan than santhathiyil oru pillaiyai molaekukkuk kodukkumpothu, thaesaththin janangal avanaik kolaiseyyaathapatikkuk kannsaataiyaayirunthaal, And if the people of the land do any ways hide their eyes from the man, when he giveth of his seed unto Molech, and kill him not:

5 Naan antha manithanukkum avan kudumpaththukkum virothamaaka ethirththu nintu , avanaiyum, avan pirakae molaekai vipasaaramaarkkamaayp pinpattina yaavaraiyum, thangal janaththil iraathapatikku araுppunndupokappannnuvaen. Then I will set my face against that man, and against his family, and will cut him off, and all that go a whoring after him, to commit whoredom with Molech, from among their people.

6 Anjanam paarkkiravarkalaiyum, kurisollukiravarkalaiyum, pinthodarnthu sorampoka entha aaththumaa avarkalai naadukiraano, antha aaththumaavukku virothamaaka ethirththunintu, avanaith than janaththiliraathapatikku araுppunndupokappannnuvaen. 7 Aathalaal neengal ungalaip Parisuththappaduththip Parisuththaraayirungal; naan ungal thaevanaakiya Karththar. Sanctify yourselves therefore, and be ye holy: for I am the LORD your God.

8 En kattalaikalaik kaikkonndu nadavungal; naan ungalaip Parisuththamaakkukira Karththar. And ye shall keep my statutes, and do them: I am the LORD which sanctify you.

9 Than thakappanaiyaavathu than thaayaiyaavathu sapikkira evanum kolaiseyyappadakkadavan; avan than thakappanaiyum than thaayaiyum sapiththaan, avan iraththappali avanmael iruppathaaka. For every one that curseth his father or his mother shall be surely put to death: he hath cursed his father or his mother; his blood shall be upon him.

10 Oruvan piranutaiya manaiviyotae vipasaaram seythaal, piran manaiviyotae vipasaaram seytha antha vipasaaranum antha vipasaariyum kolaiseyyappadakkadavarkal. And the man that committeth adultery with another man's wife, even he that committeth adultery with his neighbor's wife, the adulterer and the adulteress shall surely be put to death.

11 Than thakappan manaiviyotae sayanikkiravan than thakappanai nirvaanamaakkinapatiyaal, iruvarum kolaiseyyappadakkadavarkal; avarkal iraththappali avarkalmael iruppathaaka. And the man that lieth with his father's wife hath uncovered his father's nakedness: both of them shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.

12 Oruvan than marumakalotae sayaniththaal, iruvarum kolai seyyappadakkadavarkal; aruvaruppaana thaaraுmaaraு pannnninaarkal; avarkal iraththappali avarkalmael iruppathaaka. And if a man lie with his daughter in law, both of them shall surely be put to death: they have wrought confusion; their blood shall be upon them.

13 Oruvan pennnnotae samyokampannnukirathupola aannotae samyokampannnninaal, aruvaruppaanakaariyam seytha avviruvarum kolai seyyappadakkadavarkal avarkal iraththappali avarkalmael iruppathaaka. If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.

14 Oruvan oru sthireeyaiyum aval thaayaiyum pataiththaal, athu muraikaedu; ivvitha muraikaedu ungalukkul iraathapatikku, avanaiyum avarkalaiyum akkiniyil sutterikkavaenndum. And if a man take a wife and her mother, it is wickedness: they shall be burnt with fire, both he and they; that there be no wickedness among you.

15 Oruvan mirukaththotae punarnthaal, avan kolaiseyyappadakkadavan; antha mirukaththaiyum kollakkadaveerkal. And if a man lie with a beast, he shall surely be put to death: and ye shall slay the beast.

16 Oru sthiree yaathoru mirukaththotae sernthu sayaniththaal, antha sthireeyaiyum antha mirukaththaiyum kollakkadavaay; iru jeevanum kolaiseyyappadavaenndum; avaikalin iraththappali avaikalinmael iruppathaaka. And if a woman approach unto any beast, and lie down thereto, thou shalt kill the woman, and the beast: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.

17 Oruvan than thakappanukkaavathu than thaaykkaavathu kumaaraththiyaayirukkira than sakothariyaich serththukkonndu, avan avalutaiya nirvaanaththaiyum, aval avanutaiya nirvaanaththaiyum paarththaal athu paathakam; avarkal thangal janangalin kannkalukku munpaaka araுppunndu pokakkadavarkal; avan than sakothariyai nirvaanappaduththinaan; avan than akkiramaththaich sumappaan. And if a man shall take his sister, his father's daughter, or his mother's daughter, and see her nakedness, and she see his nakedness; it is a wicked thing; and they shall be cut off in the sight of their people: he hath uncovered his sister's nakedness; he shall bear his iniquity.

18 Oruvan soothaka sthireeyotae sayaniththu, avalai nirvaanamaakkinaal, avan avalutaiya uthira oottaைth thiranthu, avalum than uthira oottaை velippaduththinapatiyaal, iruvarum thangal janaththil iraathapatikku araுppunndupokavaenndum. And if a man shall lie with a woman having her sickness, and shall uncover her nakedness; he hath discovered her fountain, and she hath uncovered the fountain of her blood: and both of them shall be cut off from among their people.

19 Un thaayinutaiya sakothariyaiyum un thakappanutaiya sakothariyaiyum nirvaanamaakkaayaaka, appatippattavan than nerungiya inaththai avamaanamaakkinaan; avarkal thangal akkiramaththaich sumappaarkal. And thou shalt not uncover the nakedness of thy mother's sister, nor of thy father's sister: for he uncovereth his near kin: they shall bear their iniquity.

20 Oruvan than thakappanin sakotharanutaiya manaiviyotae sayaniththaal avan than thakappanin sakotharanai nirvaanamaakkinaan, avarkal thangal paavaththaich sumappaarkal, santhaanamillaamal saavaarkal. And if a man shall lie with his uncle's wife, he hath uncovered his uncle's nakedness: they shall bear their sin; they shall die childless.

21 Oruvan than sakotharanutaiya manaiviyai vivaakampannnninaal, athu asuththam; than sakotharanai nirvaanamaakkinaan, avarkal santhaanamattiruppaarkal. And if a man shall take his brother's wife, it is an unclean thing: he hath uncovered his brother's nakedness; they shall be childless.

22 Aakaiyaal neengal kutiyiruppatharkaaka naan ungalaik konndupokira thaesam ungalaik kakkikpodaathapatikku, neengal en kattalaikal yaavaiyum kaikkonndu nadavungal. Ye shall therefore keep all my statutes, and all my judgments, and do them: that the land, whither I bring you to dwell therein, spue you not out.

23 Naan ungalukku munpaakath thuraththividukira janaththinutaiya valipaadukalil nadavaathirungal; avarkal ippatippatta kaariyangalaiyellaam seythapatiyaal naan avarkalai arosiththaen. 24 Neengal avarkal thaesaththaich suthantharippeerkal entu ungalotae sonnaen; paalum thaenum odukira antha thaesaththai ungalukkuch suthantharamaakak koduppaen; ungalai matta janangalai vittup piriththeduththa ungal thaevanaakiya Karththar naanae. But I have said unto you, Ye shall inherit their land, and I will give it unto you to possess it, a land that floweth with milk and honey: I am the LORD your God, which have separated you from other people.

25 Aakaiyaal suththamaana mirukangalukkum asuththamaana mirukangalukkum, suththamaana paravaikalukkum asuththamaana paravaikalukkum neengal viththiyaasam pannnni, naan ungalukkuth theettaka ennnach solli vilakkina mirukangalaalum paravaikalaalum tharaiyilae oorukira yaathoru piraannikalaalum ungalai aruvaruppaakkaathiruppeerkalaaka. Ye shall therefore put difference between clean beasts and unclean, and between unclean fowls and clean: and ye shall not make your souls abominable by beast, or by fowl, or by any manner of living thing that creepeth on the ground, which I have separated from you as unclean.

26 Karththaraakiya naan Parisuththaraayirukkirapatiyinaalae neengalum enakkaetta Parisuththavaankalaayiruppeerkalaaka, neengal ennutaiyavarkalaayirukkumpatikku, ungalai matta janangalai vittup piriththeduththaen. And ye shall be holy unto me: for I the LORD am holy, and have severed you from other people, that ye should be mine.

27 Anjanampaarkkiravarkalum kurisollukiravarkalumaayirukkira purushanaakilum sthireeyaakilum kolaiseyyappadavaenndum; avarkalmael kallerivaarkalaaka; avarkal iraththappali avarkalmael irukkakkadavathu entu sol entar. A man also or woman that hath a familiar spirit, or that is a wizard, shall surely be put to death: they shall stone them with stones: their blood shall be upon them.
