அவர் எரிகோவில் பிரவேசித்து, அதின் வழியாக நடந்துபோகையில்,

“‘அந்நொண்டி’ நகரின் ஜனங்கள், மீதியான ஜனங்களாவார்கள். சென்றுவிடும்படி நகரஜனங்கள் பலவந்தப்படுத்தப்பட்டனர். ஆனால் நான் அவர்களை ஒரு வலிமையான நாடாக்குவேன்.” கர்த்தர் அவர்களுடைய ராஜாவாய் இருப்பார். அவர் என்றென்றும் சீயோன் பர்வதத்திலிருந்து ஆளுவார்.
