പിന്നെ അവൻ ശേമെരിനോടു ശമര്യാമല രണ്ടു താലന്തു വെള്ളിക്കു വാങ്ങി ആ മലമുകളിൽ പട്ടണം പണിതു; താൻ പണിത പട്ടണത്തിന്നു മലയുടമസ്ഥനായിരുന്ന ശേമെരിന്റെ പേരിൻ പ്രകാരം ശമര്യാ എന്നു പേരിട്ടു.
