ഹൂശാം മരിച്ചശേഷം ബദദിന്റെ മകൻ ഹദദ് അവന്നു പകരം രാജാവായി; അവൻ മോവാബ് സമഭൂമിയിൽ മിദ്യാനെ തോല്പിച്ചു; അവന്റെ പട്ടണത്തിന്നു അവീത്ത് എന്നു പേർ.

Hadad הֲדַ֣ד hădad huh-DAHD
the son בֶּן bēn bane
of Bedad, בְּדַ֗ד bĕdad beh-DAHD
which smote הַמַּכֶּ֤ה nākâ na-HA
אֶת ʾēt ate
Midian מִדְיָן֙ midyān meed-YAHN
in the field בִּשְׂדֵ֣ה śāde sa-DEH
of Moab, מוֹאָ֔ב môʾāb moh-AV
and the name וְשֵׁ֥ם šēm shame
of his city עִיר֖וֹ ʿîr eer
