1 Chronicles 5:20
അവരുടെ നേരെ അവർക്കു സഹായം ലഭിക്കയാൽ ഹഗ്രീയരും കൂടെയുള്ളവരെല്ലാവരും അവരുടെ കയ്യിൽ അകപ്പെട്ടു; അവർ യുദ്ധത്തിൽ ദൈവത്തോടു നിലവിളിച്ചു അവനിൽ ആശ്രയം വെച്ചതു കൊണ്ടു അവൻ അവരുടെ പ്രാർത്ഥന കേട്ടരുളി.

| against | עֲלֵיהֶ֔ם | ʿălêhem | uh-lay-HEM |
| Hagarites the and them, | וַיִּנָּֽתְנ֤וּ | wayyinnātĕnû | va-yee-na-teh-NOO |
| delivered were | בְיָדָם֙ | bĕyādām | veh-ya-DAHM |
| into their hand, | הַֽהַגְרִיאִ֔ים | hahagrîʾîm | ha-hahɡ-ree-EEM |
| all and | וְכֹ֖ל | wĕkōl | veh-HOLE |
| that were with | שֶׁ֣עִמָּהֶ֑ם | šeʿimmāhem | SHEH-ee-ma-HEM |
| for them: | כִּ֠י | kî | kee |
| they cried | לֵֽאלֹהִ֤ים | lēʾlōhîm | lay-loh-HEEM |
| to God | זָֽעֲקוּ֙ | zāʿăqû | za-uh-KOO |
| battle, the in | בַּמִּלְחָמָ֔ה | bammilḥāmâ | ba-meel-ha-MA |
| intreated was he and | וְנַעְתּ֥וֹר | wĕnaʿtôr | veh-na-TORE |
| of them; because | לָהֶ֖ם | lāhem | la-HEM |
| trust their put they | כִּי | kî | kee |
