1 Kings 3:22
അതിന്നു മറ്റെ സ്ത്രീ: അങ്ങനെയല്ല; ജീവനുള്ളതു എന്റെ കുഞ്ഞു; മരിച്ചതു നിന്റെ കുഞ്ഞു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു. ഇവളോ: മരിച്ചതു നിന്റെ കുഞ്ഞു; ജീവനുള്ളതു എന്റെ കുഞ്ഞു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു. ഇങ്ങനെ അവർ രാജാവിന്റെ മുമ്പാകെ തമ്മിൽ വാദിച്ചു.

| Nay; | לֹ֣א | lōʾ | loh |
| but | כִ֗י | kî | hee |
| the living | בְּנִ֤י | bĕnî | beh-NEE |
| son, my is | הַחַי֙ | haḥay | ha-HA |
| and the dead | וּבְנֵ֣ךְ | ûbĕnēk | oo-veh-NAKE |
| is thy son. | הַמֵּ֔ת | hammēt | ha-MATE |
| And this | וְזֹ֤את | wĕzōt | veh-ZOTE |
| said, | אֹמֶ֙רֶת֙ | ʾōmeret | oh-MEH-RET |
| No; | לֹ֣א | lōʾ | loh |
| but | כִ֔י | kî | hee |
| the dead | בְּנֵ֥ךְ | bĕnēk | beh-NAKE |
| is thy son, | הַמֵּ֖ת | hammēt | ha-MATE |
| living the and | וּבְנִ֣י | ûbĕnî | oo-veh-NEE |
| is my son. | הֶחָ֑י | heḥāy | heh-HAI |
| spake they Thus | וַתְּדַבֵּ֖רְנָה | wattĕdabbērĕnâ | va-teh-da-BAY-reh-na |
| before | לִפְנֵ֥י | lipnê | leef-NAY |
| the king. | הַמֶּֽלֶךְ׃ | hammelek | ha-MEH-lek |
