അതിന്നു യോനാഥാൻ: അങ്ങനെ നിനക്കു വരാതിരിക്കട്ടെ; എന്റെ അപ്പൻ നിനക്കു ദോഷം വരുത്തുവാൻ നിർണ്ണയിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു ഞാൻ അറിഞ്ഞാൽ നിന്നെ അറിയിക്കാതിരിക്കുമോ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

from thee: לָּ֑ךְ hālak ha-LAHK
for כִּ֣י׀ kî kee
if אִם ʾim eem
I knew יָדֹ֣עַ yādaʿ ya-DA
certainly אֵדַ֗ע yādaʿ ya-DA
that כִּֽי kî kee
were determined כָלְתָ֨ה kālâ ka-LA
evil הָֽרָעָ֜ה raʿ ra
by מֵעִ֤ם ʿim eem
my father אָבִי֙ ʾāb av
to come לָב֣וֹא bôʾ boh
upon עָלֶ֔יךָ ʿal al
thee, then would not וְלֹ֥א lōʾ loh
אֹתָ֖הּ ʾēt ate
I tell it thee? אַגִּ֥יד nāgad na-ɡAHD
לָֽךְ׃
