ദാവീദ് പുരോഹിതനോടു: ഈ മൂന്നു ദിവസമായി സ്ത്രീകൾ ഞങ്ങളോടു അകന്നിരിക്കുന്നു. ഇതു ഒരു സാമാന്യയാത്ര എങ്കിലും ഞാൻ പുറപ്പെടുമ്പേൾ തന്നേ ബാല്യക്കാരുടെ യാത്രക്കോപ്പുകൾ ശുദ്ധമായിരുന്നു; ഇന്നോ അവരുടെ കോപ്പുകൾ എത്ര അധികം ശുദ്ധമായിരിക്കും എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

the priest,	הַכֹּהֵ֜ן	kōhēn	koh-HANE
and said	וַיֹּ֣אמֶר	ʾāmar	ah-MAHR
	ל֗וֹ
unto him, Of	כִּ֣י	kî	kee
a truth	אִם	ʾim	eem
women	אִשָּׁ֤ה	ʾiššâ	ee-SHA
kept	עֲצֻֽרָה	ʿāṣār	ah-TSAHR
	לָ֙נוּ֙
days,	כִּתְמ֣וֹל	tĕmôl	teh-MOLE
from us about these three	שִׁלְשֹׁ֔ם	šilšôm	sheel-SHOME
since I came out,	בְּצֵאתִ֕י	yāṣāʾ	ya-TSA
	וַיִּֽהְי֥וּ	hāyâ	ha-YA
and the vessels	כְלֵֽי	kĕlî	keh-LEE
of the young men	הַנְּעָרִ֖ים	naʿar	na-AR
are holy,	קֹ֑דֶשׁ	qōdeš	koh-DESH
	וְהוּא֙	hûʾ	hoo
and in a manner	דֶּ֣רֶךְ	derek	deh-REK
common,	חֹ֔ל	ḥōl	hole
yea,	וְאַ֕ף	ʾap	af
though	כִּ֥י	kî	kee
this day	הַיּ֖וֹם	yôm	yome
it were sanctified	יִקְדַּ֥שׁ	qādaš	ka-DAHSH
in the vessel.	בַּכֶּֽלִי׃	kĕlî	keh-LEE
