ആഹാസ് യെഹോവയുടെ ആലയത്തിൽനിന്നും രാജധാനിയിൽനിന്നും പ്രഭുക്കന്മാരുടെ പക്കൽനിന്നും കവർന്നെടുത്തു അശ്ശൂർരാജാവിന്നു കൊടുത്തു; എങ്കിലും ഇതിനാൽ അവന്നു സഹായം ഉണ്ടായില്ല.

וְאֶת ʾēt ate
and of the house בֵּ֥ית bayit ba-YEET
of the king, הַמֶּ֖לֶךְ melek meh-LEK
and of the princes, וְהַשָּׂרִ֑ים śar sahr
and gave וַיִּתֵּן֙ nātan na-TAHN
unto the king לְמֶ֣לֶךְ melek meh-LEK
of Assyria: אַשּׁ֔וּר ʾaššûr ah-SHOOR
him not. וְלֹ֥א lōʾ loh
but he helped לְעֶזְרָ֖ה ʿezrâ ez-RA
