യോവാബ് സാഷ്ടാംഗം വീണു നമസ്കരിച്ചു രാജാവിനെ അഭിനന്ദിച്ചു: യജമാനനായ രാജാവേ, അടിയന്റെ വാക്കു പോലെ രാജാവു ചെയ്തതുകൊണ്ടു അടിയന്നു തിരുമുമ്പിൽ കൃപ ലഭിച്ചു എന്നു അടിയൻ ഇന്നു അറിയുന്നു എന്നു യോവാബ് പറഞ്ഞു.

to the ground	אַ֛רְצָה	ʾereṣ	eh-RETS
and bowed himself,	וַיִּשְׁתַּ֖חוּ	šāḥâ	sha-HA
and thanked	וַיְבָ֣רֶךְ	bārak	ba-RAHK
	אֶת	ʾēt	ate
the king:	הַמֶּ֑לֶךְ	melek	meh-LEK
said,	וַיֹּ֣אמֶר	ʾāmar	ah-MAHR
and Joab	יוֹאָ֡ב	yôʾāb	yoh-AV
To day	הַיּוֹם֩	yôm	yome
knoweth	יָדַ֨ע	yādaʿ	ya-DA
thy servant	עַבְדְּךָ֜	ʿebed	eh-VED
that	כִּֽי	kî	kee
I have found	מָצָ֨אתִי	māṣāʾ	ma-TSA
grace	חֵ֤ן	ḥēn	hane
in thy sight,	בְּעֵינֶ֙יךָ֙	ʿayin	ah-YEEN
my lord,	אֲדֹנִ֣י	ʾādôn	ah-DONE
O king,	הַמֶּ֔לֶךְ	melek	meh-LEK
in that	אֲשֶׁר	ʾăšer	uh-SHER
hath fulfilled	עָשָׂ֥ה	ʿāśâ	ah-SA
the king	הַמֶּ֖לֶךְ	melek	meh-LEK
	אֶת	ʾēt	ate
the request	דְּבַ֥ר	dābār	da-VAHR
of his servant.	עַבְדֶּֽוָ׃	ʿebed	eh-VED
