എന്റെ പട്ടണത്തിൽ എന്റെ അപ്പന്റെയും അമ്മയുടെയും കല്ലറയുടെ അടുക്കൽവെച്ചു മരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു അടിയൻ വിടകൊള്ളട്ടെ; എന്നാൽ നിന്റെ ദാസനായ കിംഹാം ഇതാ; അവൻ യജമാനനായ രാജാവിനോടുകൂടെ പോരട്ടെ; നിനക്കു പ്രസാദമായതു അവന്നു ചെയ്തു കൊടുത്താലും.

Let thy servant, עַבְדְּךָ֙ ʿebed eh-VED
that I may die וְאָמֻ֣ת mût moot
in mine own city, בְּעִירִ֔י ʿîr eer
by עִ֛ם ʿim eem
the grave קֶ֥בֶר qeber keh-VER
of my father אָבִ֖י ʾāb av
and of my mother. וְאִמִּ֑י ʾēm ame
But behold וְהִנֵּ֣ה׀ hinnē hee-NAY
thy servant עַבְדְּךָ֣ ʿebed eh-VED
Chimham; כִמְהָ֗ם kimhām keem-HAHM
let him go over יַֽעֲבֹר֙ ʿābar ah-VAHR
with עִם ʿim eem
my lord אֲדֹנִ֣י ʾādôn ah-DONE
the king; הַמֶּ֔לֶךְ melek meh-LEK
and do וַֽעֲשֵׂה ʿāśâ ah-SA
ל֕וֹ
to him אֵ֥ת ʾēt ate
what אֲשֶׁר ʾăšer uh-SHER
good unto thee. ט֖וֹב ṭôb tove
shall seem בְּעֵינֶֽיךָ׃ ʿayin ah-YEEN
