Deuteronomy 28:57
ശത്രു നിന്റെ പട്ടണങ്ങളിൽ നിന്നെ ഞെരുക്കുന്ന ഞെരുക്കത്തിലും നിരോധത്തിലും സകലവസ്തുക്കളുടെയും ദുർല്ലഭത്വംനിമിത്തം അവൾ അവരെ രഹസ്യമായി തിന്നും.

| out cometh that | הַיּוֹצֵ֣ת׀ | hayyôṣēt | ha-yoh-TSATE |
| from between | מִבֵּ֣ין | mibbên | mee-BANE |
| feet, her | רַגְלֶ֗יהָ | raglêhā | rahɡ-LAY-ha |
| and toward her children | וּבְבָנֶ֙יהָ֙ | ûbĕbānêhā | oo-veh-va-NAY-HA |
| which | אֲשֶׁ֣ר | ʾăšer | uh-SHER |
| she shall bear: | תֵּלֵ֔ד | tēlēd | tay-LADE |
| for | כִּֽי | kî | kee |
| eat shall she | תֹאכְלֵ֥ם | tōʾkĕlēm | toh-heh-LAME |
| them for want | בְּחֹֽסֶר | bĕḥōser | beh-HOH-ser |
| of all | כֹּ֖ל | kōl | kole |
| secretly things | בַּסָּ֑תֶר | bassāter | ba-SA-ter |
| in the siege | בְּמָצוֹר֙ | bĕmāṣôr | beh-ma-TSORE |
| straitness, and | וּבְמָצ֔וֹק | ûbĕmāṣôq | oo-veh-ma-TSOKE |
| wherewith | אֲשֶׁ֨ר | ʾăšer | uh-SHER |
| thine enemy | יָצִ֥יק | yāṣîq | ya-TSEEK |
| distress shall | לְךָ֛ | lĕkā | leh-HA |
| thee in thy gates. | אֹֽיִבְךָ֖ | ʾōyibkā | oh-yeev-HA |
| בִּשְׁעָרֶֽיךָ׃ | bišʿārêkā | beesh-ah-RAY-ha |
