Ecclesiastes 12:9
സഭാപ്രസംഗി ജ്ഞാനിയായിരുന്നതു കൂടാതെ അവൻ ജനത്തിന്നു പരിജ്ഞാനം ഉപദേശിച്ചു കൊടുക്കയും ചിന്തിച്ചു ശോധന കഴിച്ചു അനേകം സദൃശവാക്യം ചമെക്കയും ചെയ്തു.

| because the preacher | שֶׁהָיָ֥ה | šehāyâ | sheh-ha-YA |
| was | קֹהֶ֖לֶת | qōhelet | koh-HEH-let |
| wise, | חָכָ֑ם | ḥākām | ha-HAHM |
| still he | ע֗וֹד | ʿôd | ode |
| taught | לִמַּד | limmad | lee-MAHD |
| דַּ֙עַת֙ | daʿat | DA-AT | |
| the people | אֶת | ʾet | et |
| knowledge; | הָעָ֔ם | hāʿām | ha-AM |
| heed, good gave he yea, | וְאִזֵּ֣ן | wĕʾizzēn | veh-ee-ZANE |
| and sought out, | וְחִקֵּ֔ר | wĕḥiqqēr | veh-hee-KARE |
| order in set and | תִּקֵּ֖ן | tiqqēn | tee-KANE |
| many | מְשָׁלִ֥ים | mĕšālîm | meh-sha-LEEM |
