Exodus 13:13
എന്നാൽ കഴുതയുടെ കടിഞ്ഞൂലിനെ ഒക്കെയും ആട്ടിൻ കുട്ടിയെക്കൊണ്ടു വീണ്ടുകൊള്ളേണം; അതിനെ വീണ്ടുകൊള്ളുന്നില്ലെങ്കിൽ അതിന്റെ കഴുത്തു ഒടിച്ചുകളയേണം. നിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാരിൽ ആദ്യജാതനെ ഒക്കെയും നീ വീണ്ടുകൊള്ളേണം.

| not wilt thou | לֹ֥א | lōʾ | loh |
| redeem | תִפְדֶּ֖ה | tipde | teef-DEH |
| neck: his break shalt thou then it, | וַֽעֲרַפְתּ֑וֹ | waʿăraptô | va-uh-rahf-TOH |
| and all | וְכֹ֨ל | wĕkōl | veh-HOLE |
| the firstborn | בְּכ֥וֹר | bĕkôr | beh-HORE |
| man of | אָדָ֛ם | ʾādām | ah-DAHM |
| among thy children | בְּבָנֶ֖יךָ | bĕbānêkā | beh-va-NAY-ha |
