Exodus 2:6
അവൾ അതു തുറന്നാറെ പൈതലിനെ കണ്ടു: കുട്ടി ഇതാ, കരയുന്നു. അവൾക്കു അതിനോടു അലിവുതോന്നി: ഇതു എബ്രായരുടെ പൈതങ്ങളിൽ ഒന്നു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

| and, behold, | וְהִנֵּה | wĕhinnē | veh-hee-NAY |
| the babe | נַ֖עַר | naʿar | NA-ar |
| wept. | בֹּכֶ֑ה | bōke | boh-HEH |
| And she had compassion | וַתַּחְמֹ֣ל | wattaḥmōl | va-tahk-MOLE |
| on | עָלָ֔יו | ʿālāyw | ah-LAV |
| said, and him, | וַתֹּ֕אמֶר | wattōʾmer | va-TOH-mer |
| This | מִיַּלְדֵ֥י | miyyaldê | mee-yahl-DAY |
| is one of the Hebrews' | הָֽעִבְרִ֖ים | hāʿibrîm | ha-eev-REEM |
| children. | זֶֽה׃ | ze | zeh |
