Exodus 2:7
അവന്റെ പെങ്ങൾ ഫറവോന്റെ പുത്രിയോടു: ഈ പൈതലിന്നു മുലകൊടുക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു ഒരു എബ്രായസ്ത്രീയെ ഞാൻ ചെന്നു വിളിച്ചു കൊണ്ടുവരേണമോ എന്നു ചോദിച്ചു.
0 A Song of degrees.
1 Unto thee lift I up mine eyes, O thou that dwellest in the heavens.
2 Behold, as the eyes of servants look unto the hand of their masters, and as the eyes of a maiden unto the hand of her mistress; so our eyes wait upon the Lord our God, until that he have mercy upon us.
3 Have mercy upon us, O Lord, have mercy upon us: for we are exceedingly filled with contempt.
4 Our soul is exceedingly filled with the scorning of those that are at ease, and with the contempt of the proud.

| nurse a thee to | לָךְ֙ | lok | loke |
| of | אִשָּׁ֣ה | ʾiššâ | ee-SHA |
| the Hebrew | מֵינֶ֔קֶת | mêneqet | may-NEH-ket |
| women, | מִ֖ן | min | meen |
| nurse may she that | הָֽעִבְרִיֹּ֑ת | hāʿibriyyōt | ha-eev-ree-YOTE |
| וְתֵינִ֥ק | wĕtêniq | veh-tay-NEEK | |
| the child | לָ֖ךְ | lāk | lahk |
| for thee? | אֶת | ʾet | et |
| הַיָּֽלֶד׃ | hayyāled | ha-YA-led |
