Exodus 4:3
അതു നിലത്തിടുക എന്നു കല്പിച്ചു. അവൻ നിലത്തിട്ടു; അതു ഒരു സർപ്പമായ്തീർന്നു; മോശെ അതിനെ കണ്ടു ഓടിപ്പോയി.
0 A Song of degrees.
1 Unto thee lift I up mine eyes, O thou that dwellest in the heavens.
2 Behold, as the eyes of servants look unto the hand of their masters, and as the eyes of a maiden unto the hand of her mistress; so our eyes wait upon the Lord our God, until that he have mercy upon us.
3 Have mercy upon us, O Lord, have mercy upon us: for we are exceedingly filled with contempt.
4 Our soul is exceedingly filled with the scorning of those that are at ease, and with the contempt of the proud.
| And he said, | וַיֹּ֙אמֶר֙ | wayyōʾmer | va-YOH-MER |
| Cast | הַשְׁלִיכֵ֣הוּ | hašlîkēhû | hahsh-lee-HAY-hoo |
| ground. the on it | אַ֔רְצָה | ʾarṣâ | AR-tsa |
| And he cast | וַיַּשְׁלִכֵ֥הוּ | wayyašlikēhû | va-yahsh-lee-HAY-hoo |
| ground, the on it | אַ֖רְצָה | ʾarṣâ | AR-tsa |
| and it became | וַיְהִ֣י | wayhî | vai-HEE |
| serpent; a | לְנָחָ֑שׁ | lĕnāḥāš | leh-na-HAHSH |
| and Moses | וַיָּ֥נָס | wayyānos | va-YA-nose |
| fled | מֹשֶׁ֖ה | mōše | moh-SHEH |
| from before | מִפָּנָֽיו׃ | mippānāyw | mee-pa-NAIV |
