Exodus 4:6
യഹോവ പിന്നെയും അവനോടു: നിന്റെ കൈ മാർവ്വിടത്തിൽ ഇടുക എന്നു കല്പിച്ചു. അവൻ കൈ മാർവ്വിടത്തിൽ ഇട്ടു; പുറത്തു എടുത്തപ്പോൾ കൈ ഹിമം പോലെ വെളുത്തു കുഷ്ഠമുള്ളതായി കണ്ടു.
0 A Song of degrees.
1 Unto thee lift I up mine eyes, O thou that dwellest in the heavens.
2 Behold, as the eyes of servants look unto the hand of their masters, and as the eyes of a maiden unto the hand of her mistress; so our eyes wait upon the Lord our God, until that he have mercy upon us.
3 Have mercy upon us, O Lord, have mercy upon us: for we are exceedingly filled with contempt.
4 Our soul is exceedingly filled with the scorning of those that are at ease, and with the contempt of the proud.

| furthermore | ל֜וֹ | lô | loh |
| Put him, unto | ע֗וֹד | ʿôd | ode |
| now | הָֽבֵא | hābēʾ | HA-vay |
| hand thine | נָ֤א | nāʾ | na |
| into thy bosom. | יָֽדְךָ֙ | yādĕkā | ya-deh-HA |
| And he put | בְּחֵיקֶ֔ךָ | bĕḥêqekā | beh-hay-KEH-ha |
| hand his | וַיָּבֵ֥א | wayyābēʾ | va-ya-VAY |
| into his bosom: | יָד֖וֹ | yādô | ya-DOH |
| and when he took | בְּחֵיק֑וֹ | bĕḥêqô | beh-hay-KOH |
| behold, out, it | וַיּ֣וֹצִאָ֔הּ | wayyôṣiʾāh | VA-yoh-tsee-AH |
| his hand | וְהִנֵּ֥ה | wĕhinnē | veh-hee-NAY |
| was leprous | יָד֖וֹ | yādô | ya-DOH |
| as snow. | מְצֹרַ֥עַת | mĕṣōraʿat | meh-tsoh-RA-at |
| כַּשָּֽׁלֶג׃ | kaššāleg | ka-SHA-leɡ |
