അതുകൊണ്ടുള്ള ആഭരണങ്ങളുടെ ഭംഗി അവർ ഡംഭത്തിന്നായി പ്രയോഗിച്ചു; അതുകൊണ്ടു അവർ തങ്ങൾക്കു മ്ളേച്ഛവിഗ്രഹങ്ങളെയും മലിനബിംബങ്ങളെയും ഉണ്ടാക്കി; ആകയാൽ ഞാൻ അതു അവർക്കു മലമാക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു.

As for the beauty	וּצְבִ֤י	ṣĕbî	tseh-VEE
of his ornament,	עֶדְיוֹ֙	ʿădî	uh-DEE
it in majesty:	לְגָא֣וֹן	gāʾôn	ɡa-ONE
he set	שָׂמָ֔הוּ	śûm	soom
the images	וְצַלְמֵ֧י	ṣelem	tseh-LEM
of their abominations	תוֹעֲבֹתָ֛ם	tôʿēba	toh-ay-VA
of their detestable things	שִׁקּוּצֵיהֶ֖ם	šiqqûṣ	shee-KOOTS
but they made	עָ֣שׂוּ	ʿāśâ	ah-SA
	ב֑וֹ
therein: therefore	עַל	ʿal	al
	כֵּ֛ן	kēn	kane
have I set	נְתַתִּ֥יו	nātan	na-TAHN
	לָהֶ֖ם
it far from them.	לְנִדָּֽה׃	niddâ	nee-DA
