Hosea 4:6
പരിജ്ഞാനമില്ലായ്കയാൽ എന്റെ ജനം നശിച്ചുപോകുന്നു; പരിജ്ഞാനം ത്യജിക്കകൊണ്ടു നീ എനിക്കു പുരോഹിതനായിരിക്കാതവണ്ണം ഞാൻ നിന്നെയും ത്യജിക്കും; നീ നിന്റെ ദൈവത്തിന്റെ ന്യായപ്രമാണം മറന്നുകളഞ്ഞതുകൊണ്ടു ഞാനും നിന്റെ മക്കളെ മറെക്കും.

| knowledge, | מָאַ֗סְתָּ | māʾastā | ma-AS-ta |
| I will also reject | וְאֶמְאָֽסְאךָ֙ | wĕʾemʾāsĕʾkā | veh-em-ah-seh-HA |
| priest no be shalt thou that thee, | מִכַּהֵ֣ן | mikkahēn | mee-ka-HANE |
| forgotten hast thou seeing me: to | לִ֔י | lî | lee |
| law the | וַתִּשְׁכַּח֙ | wattiškaḥ | va-teesh-KAHK |
| of thy God, | תּוֹרַ֣ת | tôrat | toh-RAHT |
| I | אֱלֹהֶ֔יךָ | ʾĕlōhêkā | ay-loh-HAY-ha |
| also will | אֶשְׁכַּ֥ח | ʾeškaḥ | esh-KAHK |
| forget | בָּנֶ֖יךָ | bānêkā | ba-NAY-ha |
| thy children. | גַּם | gam | ɡahm |
