Isaiah 48:21
അവൻ അവരെ ശൂന്യപ്രദേശങ്ങളിൽകൂടി നടത്തിയപ്പോൾ അവർക്കു ദാഹിച്ചില്ല; അവൻ അവർക്കുവേണ്ടി പാറയിൽനിന്നു വെള്ളം ഒഴുകുമാറാക്കി; അവൻ പാറ പിളർന്നപ്പോൾ വെള്ളം ചാടിപുറപ്പെട്ടു.

| not | צָמְא֗וּ | ṣomʾû | tsome-OO |
| when he led | בָּחֳרָבוֹת֙ | bāḥŏrābôt | ba-hoh-ra-VOTE |
| deserts: the through them | הֽוֹלִיכָ֔ם | hôlîkām | hoh-lee-HAHM |
| he caused the waters | מַ֥יִם | mayim | MA-yeem |
| flow to | מִצּ֖וּר | miṣṣûr | MEE-tsoor |
| out of the rock | הִזִּ֣יל | hizzîl | hee-ZEEL |
| clave he them: for | לָ֑מוֹ | lāmô | LA-moh |
| the rock | וַיִּ֨בְקַע | wayyibqaʿ | va-YEEV-ka |
| waters the and also, | צ֔וּר | ṣûr | tsoor |
| gushed out. | וַיָּזֻ֖בוּ | wayyāzubû | va-ya-ZOO-voo |
| מָֽיִם׃ | māyim | MA-yeem |
