ഇതു എനിക്കു നോഹയുടെ വെള്ളങ്ങൾപോലെയാകുന്നു; നോഹയുടെ വെള്ളങ്ങൾ ഇനി ഭൂമിയെ മുക്കിക്കളകയില്ല എന്നു ഞാൻ സത്യം ചെയ്തതുപോലെ ഞാൻ നിന്നോടു കോപിക്കയോ നിന്നെ ഭർ‍ത്സിക്കയോ ഇല്ല എന്നു ഞാൻ സത്യം ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നു.

I have sworn נִשְׁבַּ֗עְתִּי šābaʿ sha-VA
go מֵעֲבֹ֥ר ʿābar ah-VAHR
that the waters מֵי mayim ma-YEEM
of Noah נֹ֛חַ nōaḥ NOH-ak
should no more ע֖וֹד ʿôd ode
over עַל ʿal al
the earth; הָאָ֑רֶץ ʾereṣ eh-RETS
so כֵּ֥ן kēn kane
have I sworn נִשְׁבַּ֛עְתִּי šābaʿ sha-VA
that I would not be wroth מִקְּצֹ֥ף qāṣap ka-TSAHF
with עָלַ֖יִךְ ʿal al
thee, nor rebuke thee. וּמִגְּעָר gāʿar ɡa-AR
