അവർ എന്റെ ദേശത്തെ തങ്ങളുടെ മ്ളേച്ഛവിഗ്രഹങ്ങളാൽ മലിനമാക്കി എന്റെ അവകാശത്തെ തങ്ങളുടെ അറെപ്പുകളെക്കൊണ്ടു നിറെച്ചിരിക്കയാൽ, ഞാൻ ഒന്നാമതു അവരുടെ അകൃത്യത്തിന്നും അവരുടെ പാപത്തിന്നും ഇരിട്ടിച്ചു പകരം ചെയ്യും.

and their sin וְחַטָּאתָ֔ם ḥaṭṭāʾâ ha-ta-AH
because עַ֖ל ʿal al
they have defiled חַלְּלָ֣ם ḥālal ha-LAHL
אֶת ʾēt ate
my land, אַרְצִ֑י ʾereṣ eh-RETS
with the carcases בְּנִבְלַ֤ת nĕbēlâ neh-vay-LA
of their detestable שִׁקּֽוּצֵיהֶם֙ šiqqûṣ shee-KOOTS
and abominable things. וְתוֹעֲב֣וֹתֵיהֶ֔ם tôʿēba toh-ay-VA
they have filled מָלְא֖וּ mālēʾ ma-LAY
אֶת ʾēt ate
mine inheritance נַחֲלָתִֽי׃ naḥălâ na-huh-LA
