മലിനമായിരിക്കുന്ന യെരൂശലേം വീടുകളും യെഹൂദാരാജാക്കന്മാരുടെ അരമനകളും അവർ മേല്പുരകളിൽവെച്ചു ആകാശത്തിലെ സർവ്വസൈന്യത്തിന്നും ധൂപം കാണിക്കയും അന്യദേവന്മാർക്കു പാനീയബലി പകരുകയും ചെയ്ത എല്ലാ വീടുകളും തന്നേ തോഫെത്ത് എന്ന സ്ഥലംപോലെയാകും.

of the kings מַלְכֵ֣י melek meh-LEK
of Judah, יְהוּדָ֔ה yĕhûdâ yeh-hoo-DA
as the place כִּמְק֥וֹם māqôm ma-KOME
of Tophet, הַתֹּ֖פֶת tōpet toh-FET
defiled הַטְּמֵאִ֑ים ṭāmēʾ ta-MAY
because of all לְכֹ֣ל kōl kole
the houses הַבָּתִּ֗ים bayit ba-YEET
whose אֲשֶׁ֨ר ʾăšer uh-SHER
they have burned incense קִטְּר֜וּ qāṭar ka-TAHR
upon עַל ʿal al
roofs גַּגֹּֽתֵיהֶם֙ gāg ɡahɡ
unto all לְכֹל֙ kōl kole
the host צְבָ֣א ṣābāʾ tsa-VA
of heaven, הַשָּׁמַ֔יִם šāmayim sha-ma-YEEM
and have poured out וְהַסֵּ֥ךְ nāsak na-SAHK
drink offerings נְסָכִ֖ים nesek neh-SEK
gods. לֵאלֹהִ֥ים ʾĕlōhîm ay-loh-HEEM
unto other אֲחֵרִֽים׃ ʾaḥēr ah-HARE
