എന്റെ ജനം രണ്ടു ദോഷം ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നു: അവർ ജീവജലത്തിന്റെ ഉറവായ എന്നെ ഉപേക്ഷിച്ചു, വെള്ളമില്ലാത്ത കിണറുകളെ, പൊട്ടക്കിണറുകളെ തന്നേ, കുഴിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.

my people	עַמִּ֑י	ʿam	am
	אֹתִ֨י	ʾēt	ate
they have forsaken	עָזְב֜וּ	ʿāzab	ah-ZAHV
me the fountain	מְק֣וֹר׀	māqôr	ma-KORE
waters,	מַ֣יִם	mayim	ma-YEEM
of living	חַיִּ֗ים	ḥay	hai
hewed them out	לַחְצֹ֤ב	ḥāṣab	ha-TSAHV
	לָהֶם֙
cisterns,	בֹּאר֔וֹת	bōr	bore
cisterns,	בֹּארֹת֙	bōr	bore
broken	נִשְׁבָּרִ֔ים	šābar	sha-VAHR
that	אֲשֶׁ֥ר	ʾăšer	uh-SHER
no	לֹא	lōʾ	loh
can hold	יָכִ֖לוּ	kûl	kool
water.	הַמָּֽיִם׃	mayim	ma-YEEM
