നീ ചെന്നു യെരൂശലേം കേൾക്കെ വിളിച്ചു പറയേണ്ടതു; യഹോവ ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു മരുഭൂമിയിൽ, വിതെക്കാത്ത ദേശത്തു തന്നേ, നീ എന്നെ അനുഗമിച്ചു നടന്ന നിന്റെ യൌവനത്തിലെ ഭക്തിയും വിവാഹം നിശ്ചയിച്ച കാലത്തിലെ സ്നേഹവും ഞാൻ ഓർക്കുന്നു.

saying, לֵאמֹ֗ר ʾāmar ah-MAHR
Thus כֹּ֚ה kō koh
saith אָמַ֣ר ʾāmar ah-MAHR
the Lord; יְהוָ֔ה yĕhōwâ yeh-hoh-VA
I remember זָכַ֤רְתִּי zākar za-HAHR
לָךְ֙
thee, the kindness חֶ֣סֶד ḥēsēd hay-SADE
of thy youth, נְעוּרַ֔יִךְ nāʿûr na-OOR
the love אַהֲבַ֖ת ʾahăbâ ah-huh-VA
of thine espousals, כְּלוּלֹתָ֑יִךְ kĕlûlâ keh-loo-LA
when thou wentest לֶכְתֵּ֤ךְ hālak ha-LAHK
after אַחֲרַי֙ ʾaḥar ah-HAHR
me in the wilderness, בַּמִּדְבָּ֔ר midbār meed-BAHR
in a land בְּאֶ֖רֶץ ʾereṣ eh-RETS
not לֹ֥א lōʾ loh
sown. זְרוּעָֽה׃ zāraʿ za-RA
