യഹോവ ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: ഞാൻ നിന്നെ നിനക്കു തന്നെയും നിന്റെ സകലസ്നേഹിതന്മാർക്കും ഭീതിയാക്കിത്തീർക്കും; അവർ ശത്രുക്കളുടെ വാൾകൊണ്ടു വീഴും; നിന്റെ കണ്ണു അതു കാണും; എല്ലായെഹൂദയെയും ഞാൻ ബാബേൽരാജാവിന്റെ കയ്യിൽ ഏല്പിക്കും; അവൻ അവരെ പിടിച്ചു ബാബേലിലേക്കു കൊണ്ടുപോയി വാൾകൊണ്ടു കൊന്നുകളയും.

Behold, הִנְנִי֩ hēn hane
I will make נֹתֶנְךָ֙ nātan na-TAHN
thee a terror לְמָג֜וֹר māgôr ma-ɡORE
לְךָ֣
to thyself, and to all וּלְכָל kōl kole
thy friends: אֹהֲבֶ֗יךָ ʾāhab ah-HAHV
and they shall fall וְנָֽפְל֛וּ nāpal na-FAHL
by the sword בְּחֶ֥רֶב ḥereb heh-REV
of their enemies, אֹיְבֵיהֶ֖ם ʾōyēb oh-YAVE
and thine eyes וְעֵינֶ֣יךָ ʿayin ah-YEEN
shall behold רֹא֑וֹת rāʾâ ra-AH
וְאֶת ʾēt ate
all כָּל kōl kole
Judah יְהוּדָ֗ה yĕhûdâ yeh-hoo-DA
and I will give אֶתֵּן֙ nātan na-TAHN
into the hand בְּיַ֣ד yād yahd
of the king מֶֽלֶךְ melek meh-LEK
of Babylon, בָּבֶ֔ל bābel ba-VEL
and he shall carry them captive וְהִגְלָ֥ם gālâ ɡa-LA
into Babylon, בָּבֶ֖לָה bābel ba-VEL
and shall slay וְהִכָּ֥ם nākâ na-HA
them with the sword. בֶּחָֽרֶב׃ ḥereb heh-REV
