യെഹൂദാരാജാവായ ഹിസ്കീയാവിന്റെ കാലത്തു മോരഷ്ട്യനായ മീഖായാവു സകലയെഹൂദാജനത്തോടും പ്രവചിച്ചു: സീയോനേ വയൽ പോലെ ഉഴുതുകളയും; യെരൂശലേം കല്ക്കുന്നായും ഈ ആലയമുള്ള പർവ്വതം വനാന്തരഗിരികളായും തീരും എന്നിങ്ങനെ സൈന്യങ്ങളുടെ യഹോവ അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

and spake וַיֹּ֣אמֶר ʾāmar ah-MAHR
to אֶל ʾēl ale
all כָּל kōl kole
the people עַם֩ ʿam am
of Judah, יְהוּדָ֨ה yĕhûdâ yeh-hoo-DA
saying, לֵאמֹ֜ר ʾāmar ah-MAHR
Thus כֹּֽה kō koh
saith אָמַ֣ר׀ ʾāmar ah-MAHR
the Lord יְהוָ֣ה yĕhōwâ yeh-hoh-VA
of hosts; צְבָא֗וֹת ṣābāʾ tsa-VA
Zion צִיּ֞וֹן ṣiyyôn tsee-YONE
a field, שָׂדֶ֤ה śāde sa-DEH
shall be plowed תֵֽחָרֵשׁ֙ ḥāraš ha-RAHSH
and Jerusalem וִירוּשָׁלַ֙יִם֙ yĕrûšālaim yeh-roo-sha-la-EEM
heaps, עִיִּ֣ים ʿî ee
shall become תִּֽהְיֶ֔ה hāyâ ha-YA
and the mountain וְהַ֥ר har hahr
of the house הַבַּ֖יִת bayit ba-YEET
as the high places לְבָמ֥וֹת bāmâ ba-MA
of a forest. יָֽעַר׃ yaʿar ya-AR
