കെനയനയുടെ മകനായ സിദെക്കീയാവു തനിക്കു ഇരിമ്പു കൊണ്ടു കൊമ്പു ഉണ്ടാക്കി: ഇവകൊണ്ടു നീ അരാമ്യരെ അവർ ഒടുങ്ങുംവരെ കുത്തിക്കളയും എന്നിപ്രകാരം യഹോവ അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

യെഹൂദി മൂന്നു നാലു ഭാഗം വായിച്ചശേഷം രാജാവു എഴുത്തുകാരന്റെ ഒരു കത്തികൊണ്ടു അതു കണ്ടിച്ചു ചുരുൾ മുഴുവനും നെരിപ്പോട്ടിലെ തീയിൽ വെന്തുപോകുംവരെ നെരിപ്പോട്ടിൽ ഇട്ടുകൊണ്ടിരുന്നു.
