ഞാൻ അവരുടെ പിതാക്കന്മാരെ കൈക്കു പിടിച്ചു മിസ്രയീംദേശത്തുനിന്നു കൊണ്ടുവന്ന നാളിൽ ഞാൻ അവരോടു ചെയ്ത നിയമംപോലെയല്ല; ഞാൻ അവർക്കു ഭർത്താവായിരുന്നിട്ടും അവർ എന്റെ നിയമം ലംഘിച്ചുകളഞ്ഞു എന്നു യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു.

their fathers אֲבוֹתָ֔ם ʾāb av
in the day בְּיוֹם֙ yôm yome
I took הֶחֱזִיקִ֣י ḥāzaq ha-ZAHK
them by the hand בְיָדָ֔ם yād yahd
to bring out לְהוֹצִיאָ֖ם yāṣāʾ ya-TSA
them of the land מֵאֶ֖רֶץ ʾereṣ eh-RETS
of Egypt; מִצְרָ֑יִם miṣrayim meets-ra-YEEM
which אֲשֶׁר ʾăšer uh-SHER
they הֵ֜מָּה hēm hame
brake, הֵפֵ֣רוּ pārar pa-RAHR
אֶת ʾēt ate
my covenant בְּרִיתִ֗י bĕrît beh-REET
although I וְאָנֹכִ֛י ʾānōkî ah-noh-HEE
was an husband בָּעַ֥לְתִּי bāʿal ba-AL
בָ֖ם
unto them, saith נְאֻם nĕʾum neh-OOM
the Lord: יְהוָֽה׃ yĕhōwâ yeh-hoh-VA
