രേഖാബിന്റെ മകനായ യോനാദാബ് തന്റെ പുത്രന്മാരോടു വീഞ്ഞു കുടിക്കരുതെന്നു കല്പിച്ചതു അവർ നിവർത്തിക്കുന്നു; അവർ പിതാവിന്റെ കല്പന പ്രമാണിച്ചു ഇന്നുവരെ കുടിക്കാതെ ഇരിക്കുന്നു; എന്നാൽ ഞാൻ ഇടവിടാതെ നിങ്ങളോടു സംസാരിച്ചിട്ടും നിങ്ങൾ എന്നെ അനുസരിച്ചിട്ടില്ല.

the son	בֶּן	bēn	bane
of Rechab,	רֵ֠כָב	rēkāb	ray-HAHV
that	אֲשֶׁר	ʾăšer	uh-SHER
he commanded	צִוָּ֨ה	ṣāwâ	tsa-VA
	אֶת	ʾēt	ate
his sons	בָּנָ֜יו	bēn	bane
not	לְבִלְתִּ֣י	biltî	beel-TEE
to drink	שְׁתֽוֹת	šātâ	sha-TA
wine,	יַ֗יִן	yayin	ya-YEEN
none,	וְלֹ֤א	lōʾ	loh
they drink	שָׁתוּ֙	šātâ	sha-TA
for unto	עַד	ʿad	ad
day	הַיּ֣וֹם	yôm	yome
this	הַזֶּ֔ה	ze	zeh
but	כִּ֣י	kî	kee
obey	שָֽׁמְע֔וּ	šāmaʿ	sha-MA
	אֵ֖ת	ʾēt	ate
commandment:	מִצְוַ֣ת	miṣwâ	meets-VA
their father's	אֲבִיהֶ֑ם	ʾāb	av
notwithstanding I	וְאָ֨נֹכִ֜י	ʾānōkî	ah-noh-HEE
have spoken	דִּבַּ֤רְתִּי	dābar	da-VAHR
unto	אֲלֵיכֶם֙	ʾēl	ale
you, rising early	הַשְׁכֵּ֣ם	šākam	sha-HAHM
and speaking;	וְדַבֵּ֔ר	dābar	da-VAHR
not	וְלֹ֥א	lōʾ	loh
but ye hearkened	שְׁמַעְתֶּ֖ם	šāmaʿ	sha-MA
unto me.	אֵלָֽי׃	ʾēl	ale
