അപ്പോൾ ബാരൂക്ക് യഹോവയുടെ ആലയത്തിൽ, യഹോവയുടെ ആലയത്തിന്റെ പുതിയവാതിലിന്റെ പ്രവേശനത്തിങ്കൽ, മേലത്തെ മുറ്റത്തു, ശാഫാന്റെ മകനായ ഗെമർയ്യാരായസക്കാരന്റെ മുറിയിൽവെച്ചു ആ പുസ്തകത്തിൽനിന്നു യിരെമ്യാവിന്റെ വചനങ്ങളെ സകലജനത്തെയും വായിച്ചു കേൾപ്പിച്ചു.
