ആകയാൽ നീ ചെന്നു എന്റെ വാമൊഴികേട്ടു എഴുതിയ ചുരുളിൽനിന്നു യഹോവയുടെ വചനങ്ങളെ യഹോവയുടെ ആലയത്തിൽ ഉപവാസദിവസത്തിൽ തന്നേ ജനം കേൾക്കെ വായിക്ക; അതതു പട്ടണങ്ങളിൽനിന്നു വരുന്ന എല്ലായെഹൂദയും കേൾക്കെ നീ അതു വായിക്കേണം.

which אֲשֶׁר ʾăšer uh-SHER
thou hast written כָּתַֽבְתָּ kātab ka-TAHV
from my mouth, מִפִּי֩ pe peh
אֶת ʾēt ate
the words דִּבְרֵ֨י dābār da-VAHR
of the Lord יְהוָ֜ה yĕhōwâ yeh-hoh-VA
in the ears בְּאָזְנֵ֥י ʾōzen oh-ZEN
of the people הָעָ֛ם ʿam am
house בֵּ֥ית bayit ba-YEET
in the Lord's יְהוָ֖ה yĕhōwâ yeh-hoh-VA
day: בְּי֣וֹם yôm yome
upon the fasting צ֑וֹם ṣôm tsome
and also וְגַ֨ם gam ɡahm
them in the ears בְּאָזְנֵ֧י ʾōzen oh-ZEN
of all כָל kōl kole
Judah יְהוּדָ֛ה yĕhûdâ yeh-hoo-DA
that come out הַבָּאִ֥ים bôʾ boh
of their cities. מֵעָרֵיהֶ֖ם ʿîr eer
thou shalt read תִּקְרָאֵֽם׃ qārāʾ ka-RA
