അവൻ ബെന്യാമീൻ വാതിൽക്കൽ എത്തിയപ്പോൾ, അവിടത്തെ കാവൽക്കാരുടെ അധിപതിയായി ഹനന്യാവിന്റെ മകനായ ശെലെമ്യാവിന്റെ മകൻ യിരീയാവു എന്നു പേരുള്ളവൻ യിരെമ്യാപ്രവാചകനെ പിടിച്ചു: നീ കല്ദയരുടെ പക്ഷം ചേരുവാൻ പോകുന്നു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

Irijah, יִרְאִיָּ֔יה yirʾiyyāy yeer-ee-YAI
the son בֶּן bēn bane
of Shelemiah, שֶֽׁלֶמְיָ֖ה šelemyâ sheh-lem-YA
the son בֶּן bēn bane
of Hananiah; חֲנַנְיָ֑ה ḥănanyâ huh-nahn-YA
and he took וַיִּתְפֹּ֞שׂ tāpaś ta-FAHS
אֶֽת ʾēt ate
Jeremiah יִרְמְיָ֤הוּ yirmĕyâ yeer-meh-YA
the prophet, הַנָּבִיא֙ nābîʾ na-VEE
saying, לֵאמֹ֔ר ʾāmar ah-MAHR
to אֶל ʾēl ale
the Chaldeans. הַכַּשְׂדִּ֖ים kaśdî kahs-DEE
Thou אַתָּ֥ה ʾattâ ah-TA
fallest away נֹפֵֽל׃ nāpal na-FAHL
