എന്റെ ജനം ഭോഷന്മാർ; അവർ എന്നെ അറിയുന്നില്ല; അവർ ബുദ്ധികെട്ട മക്കൾ; അവർക്കു ഒട്ടും ബോധമില്ല; ദോഷം ചെയ്‍വാൻ അവർ സമർത്ഥന്മാർ; നന്മ ചെയ്‍വാനോ അവർക്കു അറിഞ്ഞുകൂടാ.

known יָדָ֔עוּ yādaʿ ya-DA
children, בָּנִ֤ים bēn bane
sottish סְכָלִים֙ sākāl sa-HAHL
me; they הֵ֔מָּה hēm hame
have none וְלֹ֥א lōʾ loh
understanding: נְבוֹנִ֖ים bîn been
and they הֵ֑מָּה hēm hame
wise חֲכָמִ֥ים ḥākām ha-HAHM
they הֵ֙מָּה֙ hēm hame
to do evil, לְהָרַ֔ע rāʿaʿ ra-AH
but to do good וּלְהֵיטִ֖יב yāṭab ya-TAHV
they have no לֹ֥א lōʾ loh
knowledge. יָדָֽעוּ׃ yādaʿ ya-DA
