അകമ്പടിനായകനായ നെബൂസർ-അദാൻ യിരെമ്യാവെ രാമയിൽനിന്നു വിട്ടയച്ചശേഷം അവന്നു യഹോവയിങ്കൽനിന്നുണ്ടായ അരുളപ്പാടു. ബാബേലിലേക്കു പിടിച്ചു കൊണ്ടുപോയവരായ യെരൂശലേമിലെയും യെഹൂദയിലെയും സകലബദ്ധന്മാരുടെയും കൂട്ടത്തിൽ അവനെയും ചങ്ങലകൊണ്ടു ബന്ധിച്ചിരുന്നു.

אֹת֗וֹ ʾēt ate
Nebuzar-adan נְבוּזַרְאֲדָ֛ן nĕbûzarʾădān neh-voo-zahr-uh-DAHN
the captain רַב rab rahv
of the guard טַבָּחִ֖ים ṭabbāḥ ta-BAHK
from מִן min meen
Ramah, הָֽרָמָ֑ה rāmâ ra-MA
when he had taken בְּקַחְתּ֣וֹ lāqaḥ la-KAHK
אֹת֗וֹ ʾēt ate
וְהֽוּא hûʾ hoo
him being bound אָס֤וּר ʾāsar ah-SAHR
in chains בָּֽאזִקִּים֙ ʾăziqqîm uh-zee-KEEM
among בְּת֨וֹךְ tāwek ta-VEK
all כָּל kōl kole
that were carried away captive גָּל֤וּת gālût ɡa-LOOT
of Jerusalem יְרוּשָׁלִַ֙ם֙ yĕrûšālaim yeh-roo-sha-la-EEM
and Judah, וִֽיהוּדָ֔ה yĕhûdâ yeh-hoo-DA
which were carried away captive הַמֻּגְלִ֖ים gālâ ɡa-LA
unto Babylon. בָּבֶֽלָה׃ bābel ba-VEL
