നെഥന്യാവിന്റെ മകൻ യിശ്മായേൽ മിസ്പയിൽനിന്നു പുറപ്പെട്ടു കരഞ്ഞുംകൊണ്ടു അവരെ എതിരേറ്റു ചെന്നു; അവരെ കണ്ടപ്പോൾ അവൻ അവരോടു: അഹീക്കാമിന്റെ മകനായ ഗെദല്യാവിന്റെ അടുക്കൽ വരുവിൻ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

all along הֹלֵ֥ךְ hālak ha-LAHK
as he went: הָלֹ֖ךְ hālak ha-LAHK
them, weeping וּבֹכֶ֑ה bākâ ba-HA
and it came to pass, וַֽיְהִי֙ hāyâ ha-YA
as he met כִּפְגֹ֣שׁ pāgaš pa-ɡAHSH
אֹתָ֔ם ʾēt ate
them, he said וַיֹּ֣אמֶר ʾāmar ah-MAHR
unto אֲלֵיהֶ֔ם ʾēl ale
them, Come בֹּ֖אוּ bôʾ boh
to אֶל ʾēl ale
Gedaliah גְּדַלְיָ֥הוּ gĕddalyâ ɡeh-dahl-YA
the son בֶן bēn bane
of Ahikam. אֲחִיקָֽם׃ ʾăḥîqām uh-hee-KAHM
