Jeremiah 42:1
അനന്തരം എല്ലാപടത്തലവന്മാരും കാരേഹിന്റെ മകനായ യോഹാനാനും ഹോശയ്യാവിന്റെ മകനായ യെസന്യാവും ആബാലവൃദ്ധം സർവ്വജനവും അടുത്തുവന്നു യിരെമ്യാപ്രവാചകനോടു:

| the son | וְיֽוֹחָנָן֙ | wĕyôḥānān | veh-yoh-ha-NAHN |
| of Kareah, | בֶּן | ben | ben |
| and Jezaniah | קָרֵ֔חַ | qārēaḥ | ka-RAY-ak |
| son the | וִֽיזַנְיָ֖ה | wîzanyâ | vee-zahn-YA |
| of Hoshaiah, | בֶּן | ben | ben |
| and all | הוֹשַֽׁעְיָ֑ה | hôšaʿyâ | hoh-sha-YA |
| the people | וְכָל | wĕkāl | veh-HAHL |
| least the from | הָעָ֖ם | hāʿām | ha-AM |
| even unto | מִקָּטֹ֥ן | miqqāṭōn | mee-ka-TONE |
| the greatest, | וְעַד | wĕʿad | veh-AD |
| came near, | גָּדֽוֹל׃ | gādôl | ɡa-DOLE |
