അതുകൊണ്ടു എന്റെ ക്രോധവും കോപവും ചൊരിഞ്ഞു യെഹൂദാപട്ടണങ്ങളിലും യെരൂശലേംവീഥികളിലും ജ്വലിച്ചു; അവ ഇന്നു ശൂന്യവും നാശവും ആയി കിടക്കുന്നു.

in the cities בְּעָרֵ֣י ʿîr eer
of Judah יְהוּדָ֔ה yĕhûdâ yeh-hoo-DA
and in the streets וּבְחֻצ֖וֹת ḥûṣ hoots
of Jerusalem; יְרֽוּשָׁלִָ֑ם yĕrûšālaim yeh-roo-sha-la-EEM
and they are וַתִּהְיֶ֛ינָה hāyâ ha-YA
wasted לְחָרְבָּ֥ה ḥorbâ hore-BA
desolate, לִשְׁמָמָ֖ה šĕmāmâ sheh-ma-MA
day. כַּיּ֥וֹם yôm yome
as at this הַזֶּֽה׃ ze zeh
