മോവാബ് ബാല്യംമുതൽ സ്വൈരമായി മട്ടിന്മീതെ തെളിഞ്ഞുനിന്നു; അവനെ പാത്രത്തിൽനിന്നു പാത്രത്തിലേക്കു പകരുകയോ പ്രവാസത്തിലേക്കു കൊണ്ടുപോകയോ ചെയ്തിട്ടില്ല; അതുകൊണ്ടു അവന്റെ സ്വാദു അവനിൽ തന്നേ ഇരിക്കുന്നു; അവന്റെ മണം പോയ്പോയിട്ടുമില്ല.

been emptied הוּרַ֤ק rûq rook
from vessel מִכְּלִי֙ kĕlî keh-LEE
to אֶל ʾēl ale
vessel, כֶּ֔לִי kĕlî keh-LEE
into captivity: וּבַגּוֹלָ֖ה gôlâ ɡoh-LA
neither לֹ֣א lōʾ loh
hath he gone הָלָ֑ךְ hālak ha-LAHK
therefore עַל ʿal al
כֵּ֗ן kēn kane
remained עָמַ֤ד ʿāmad ah-MAHD
his taste טַעְמוֹ֙ ṭaʿam ta-AM
בּ֔וֹ
in him, and his scent וְרֵיח֖וֹ rêaḥ RAY-ak
is not לֹ֥א lōʾ loh
changed. נָמָֽר׃ mûr moor
