പാറപ്പിളർപ്പുകളിൽ പാർത്തു കുന്നുകളുടെ മുകൾ പിടിച്ചുകൊണ്ടിരിക്കുന്നവനേ, നിന്റെ ഭയങ്കരത്വം വിചാരിച്ചാൽ നിന്റെ ഹൃദയത്തിലെ അഹങ്കാരം നിന്നെ ചതിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു; നീ കഴുകനെപ്പോലെ നിന്റെ കൂടു ഉയരത്തിൽ വെച്ചാലും അവിടെനിന്നു ഞാൻ നിന്നെ താഴെ ഇറങ്ങുമാറാക്കും എന്നു യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു.

of thine heart, לִבֶּ֔ךָ lēb lave
O thou that dwellest שֹֽׁכְנִי֙ šākan sha-HAHN
in the clefts בְּחַגְוֵ֣י ḥăgāw huh-ɡAHV
of the rock, הַסֶּ֔לַע selaʿ seh-LA
that holdest תֹּפְשִׂ֖י tāpaś ta-FAHS
the height מְר֣וֹם mārôm ma-ROME
of the hill: גִּבְעָ֑ה gibʿâ ɡeev-AH
though כִּֽי kî kee
as high תַגְבִּ֤יהַּ gābah ɡa-VA
as the eagle, כַּנֶּ֙שֶׁר֙ nešer neh-SHER
thou shouldest make thy nest קִנֶּ֔ךָ qēn kane
from thence, מִשָּׁ֥ם šām shahm
I will bring thee down אֽוֹרִידְךָ֖ yārad ya-RAHD
saith נְאֻם nĕʾum neh-OOM
the Lord. יְהוָֽה׃ yĕhōwâ yeh-hoh-VA
