Jeremiah 52 - BBE (Malayalam)

1 Zedekiah was twenty-one years old when he became king; he was king for eleven years in Jerusalem: and his mother's name was Hamutal, the daughter of Jeremiah of Libnah.സിദെക്കീയാവു വാണുതുടങ്ങിയപ്പോൾ അവന്നു ഇരുപത്തൊന്നു വയസ്സായിരുന്നു; അവൻ പതിനൊന്നു സംവത്സരം യെരൂശലേമിൽ വാണു; അവന്റെ അമ്മെക്കു ഹമൂതൽ എന്നു പേർ; അവൾ ലിബ്നക്കാരനായ യിരെമ്യാവിന്റെ മകൾ ആയിരുന്നു.

2 And he did evil in the eyes of the Lord, as Jehoiakim had done.യെഹോയാക്കീം ചെയ്തതുപോലെ ഒക്കെയും അവൻ യഹോവെക്കു അനിഷ്ടമായുള്ളതു ചെയ്തു.

3 And because of the wrath of the Lord this came about in Jerusalem and Judah, till he had sent them away from before him: and Zedekiah took up arms against the king of Babylon.യഹോവയുടെ കോപം ഹേതുവായി യെരൂശലേമിന്നും യെഹൂദെക്കും അങ്ങനെ ഭവിച്ചു; അവൻ ഒടുവിൽ അവരെ തന്റെ സന്നിധിയിൽനിന്നു തള്ളിക്കളഞ്ഞു; എന്നാൽ സിദെക്കീയാവു ബാബേൽ രാജാവിനോടു മത്സരിച്ചു.

4 And in the ninth year of his rule, on the tenth day of the tenth month, Nebuchadrezzar, king of Babylon, came against Jerusalem with all his army and took up his position before it, building earthworks all round it.അവന്റെ വാഴ്ചയുടെ ഒമ്പതാം ആണ്ടിൽ പത്താം മാസം പത്താം തിയ്യതി, ബാബേൽരാജാവായ നെബൂഖദ്നേസർ തന്റെ സർവ്വസൈന്യവുമായി യെരൂശലേമിന്റെ നേരെ വന്നു പാളയമിറങ്ങി അതിന്നെതിരെ ചുറ്റും കൊത്തളങ്ങൾ പണിതു.

5 So the town was shut in by their forces till the eleventh year of King Zedekiah.അങ്ങനെ സിദെക്കീയാരാജാവിന്റെ പതിനൊന്നാം ആണ്ടുവരെ നഗരം നിരോധിക്കപ്പെട്ടിരുന്നു.

6 In the fourth month, on the ninth day of the month, the store of food in the town was almost gone, so that there was no food for the people of the land.നാലാം മാസം ഒമ്പതാം തിയ്യതി ക്ഷാമം നഗരത്തിൽ കലശലായി ദേശത്തെ ജനത്തിന്നു ആഹാരമില്ലാതെ ഭവിച്ചു.

7 Then an opening was made in the wall of the town, and all the men of war went in flight out of the town by night through the doorway between the two walls which was by the king's garden; (now the Chaldaeans were stationed round the town:) and they went by the way of the Arabah.അപ്പോൾ നഗരത്തിന്റെ മതിൽ ഒരിടം പൊളിച്ചുതുറന്നു; കല്ദയർ നഗരം വളഞ്ഞിരിക്കെ പടയാളികൾ ഒക്കെയും രാത്രിസമയത്തു രാജാവിന്റെ തോട്ടത്തിന്നരികെ രണ്ടു മതിലുകളുടെ മദ്ധ്യേയുള്ള പടിവാതിൽക്കൽ കൂടി നഗരം വിട്ടു പുറപ്പെട്ടു അരാബയിലേക്കുള്ള വഴിയായി ഓടിപ്പോയി.

8 And the Chaldaean army went after King Zedekiah and overtook him on the other side of Jericho, and all his army went in flight from him in every direction.എന്നാൽ കല്ദയരുടെ സൈന്യം രാജാവിനെ പിന്തുടർന്നു, യെരീഹോസമഭൂമിയിൽവെച്ചു സിദെക്കീയാവോടു എത്തി; അവന്റെ സൈന്യമൊക്കെയും അവനെ വിട്ടു ചിതറിപ്പോയി.

9 Then they made the king a prisoner and took him up to the king of Babylon to Riblah in the land of Hamath to be judged.അവർ രാജാവിനെ പിടിച്ചു, ഹമാത്ത് ദേശത്തിലെ രിബ്ളയിൽ ബാബേൽരാജാവിന്റെ അടുക്കൽ കൊണ്ടുചെന്നു; അവൻ അവന്നു വിധി കല്പിച്ചു.

10 And the king of Babylon put the sons of Zedekiah to death before his eyes: and he put to death all the rulers of Judah in Riblah.ബാബേൽരാജാവു സിദെക്കീയാവിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാരെ അവൻ കാൺകെ കൊന്നു; യെഹൂദാപ്രഭുക്കന്മാരെ ഒക്കെയും അവൻ രിബ്ളയിൽവെച്ചു കൊന്നുകളഞ്ഞു.

11 And he put out Zedekiah's eyes; and the king of Babylon, chaining him in iron bands, took him to Babylon, and put him in prison till the day of his death.പിന്നെ അവൻ സിദെക്കീയാവിന്റെ കണ്ണു പൊട്ടിച്ചു; ബാബേൽരാജാവു അവനെ ചങ്ങലകൊണ്ടു ബന്ധിച്ചു ബാബേലിലേക്കു കൊണ്ടുചെന്നു ജീവപര്യന്തം കാരാഗൃഹത്തിൽ ആക്കി.

12 Now in the fifth month, on the tenth day of the month, in the nineteenth year of King Nebuchadrezzar, king of Babylon, Nebuzaradan, the captain of the armed men, a servant of the king of Babylon, came into Jerusalem.അഞ്ചാം മാസം പത്താം തിയ്യതി, ബാബേൽരാജാവായ നെബൂഖദ്നേസരിന്റെ പത്തൊമ്പതാം ആണ്ടിൽ തന്നേ, ബാബേൽരാജാവിന്റെ തിരുമുമ്പിൽ നില്ക്കുന്നവനും അകമ്പടിനായകനുമായ നെബൂസർ-അദാൻ യെരൂശലേമിലേക്കു വന്നു.

13 And he had the house of the Lord and the king's house and all the houses of Jerusalem, even every great house, burned with fire:അവൻ യഹോവയുടെ ആലയവും രാജധാനിയും ചുട്ടു, യെരൂശലേമിലെ എല്ലാ വീടുകളും പ്രധാനഭവനങ്ങളൊക്കെയും തീ വെച്ചു ചുട്ടുകളഞ്ഞു.

14 And the walls round Jerusalem were broken down by the Chaldaean army which was with the captain.അകമ്പടിനായകനോടുകൂടെ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്ന കല്ദയസൈന്യമൊക്കെയും യെരൂശലേമിന്റെ ചുറ്റുമുള്ള മതിലുകളെല്ലാം ഇടിച്ചുകളഞ്ഞു.

15 Then Nebuzaradan, the captain of the armed men, took away as prisoners the rest of the people who were still in the town, and those who had given themselves up to the king of Babylon, and the rest of the workmen.ജനത്തിൽ എളിയവരായ ചിലരെയും നഗരത്തിൽ ശേഷിച്ചിരുന്ന ജനശിഷ്ടത്തെയും ബാബേൽരാജാവിനെ ചെന്നു ശരണംപ്രാപിച്ചവരെയും പുരുഷാരത്തിൽ ശേഷിച്ചവരെയും അകമ്പടിനായകനായ നെബൂസർ-അദാൻ ബദ്ധരാക്കി കൊണ്ടുപോയി.

16 But Nebuzaradan, the captain of the armed men, let the poorest of the land go on living there, to take care of the vines and the fields.എന്നാൽ അകമ്പടിനായകനായ നെബൂസർ-അദാൻ ദേശത്തെ എളിയവരിൽ ചിലരെ മുന്തിരിത്തോട്ടക്കാരായും കൃഷിക്കാരായും വിട്ടേച്ചുപോയി.

17 And the brass pillars which were in the house of the Lord, and the wheeled bases and the great brass water-vessel in the house of the Lord, were broken up by the Chaldaeans, who took all the brass away to Babylon.യഹോവയുടെ ആലയത്തിലെ താമ്രസ്തംഭങ്ങളും പീഠങ്ങളും യഹോവയുടെ ആലയത്തിലെ താമ്രംകൊണ്ടുള്ള കടലും കല്ദയർ ഉടെച്ചു താമ്രം ഒക്കെയും ബാബേലിലേക്കു കൊണ്ടുപോയി.

18 And the pots and the spades and the scissors for the lights and the spoons, and all the brass vessels used in the Lord's house, they took away.കലങ്ങളും ചട്ടുകങ്ങളും കത്രികകളും കിണ്ണങ്ങളും തവികളും ശുശ്രൂഷെക്കുള്ള സകലതാമ്രോപകരണങ്ങളും അവർ എടുത്തുകൊണ്ടുപോയി.

19 And the cups and the fire-trays and the basins and the pots and the supports for the lights and the spoons and the wide basins; the gold of the gold vessels, and the silver of the silver vessels, the captain of the armed men took away.പാനപാത്രങ്ങളും തീച്ചട്ടികളും കിണ്ണങ്ങളും കലങ്ങളും വിളക്കുതണ്ടുകളും തവികളും കുടങ്ങളും പൊന്നുകൊണ്ടുള്ളതും വെള്ളികൊണ്ടുള്ളതും എല്ലാം അകമ്പടിനായകൻ കൊണ്ടുപോയി.

20 The two pillars, the great water-vessel, and the twelve brass oxen which were under it, and the ten wheeled bases, which King Solomon had made for the house of the Lord: the brass of all these vessels was without weight.ശലോമോൻ രാജാവു യഹോവയുടെ ആലയംവകെക്കു ഉണ്ടാക്കിയ രണ്ടു സ്തംഭവും ഒരു കടലും പീഠങ്ങളുടെ കീഴെ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്ന പന്ത്രണ്ടു താമ്രക്കാളയും തന്നേ; ഈ സകലസാധനങ്ങളുടെയും താമ്രത്തിന്നു തൂക്കമില്ലാതെയിരുന്നു.

21 And as for the pillars, one pillar was eighteen cubits high, and twelve cubits measured all round, and it was as thick as a man's hand: it was hollow.സ്തംഭങ്ങളോ, ഓരോന്നു പതിനെട്ടു മുഴം ഉയരവും പന്ത്രണ്ടു മുഴം ചുറ്റളവും നാലു വിരൽ കനവും ഉള്ളതായിരുന്നു; അതു പൊള്ളയുമായിരുന്നു.

22 And there was a crown of brass on it: the crown was five cubits high, circled with a network and apples all of brass; and the second pillar had the same.അതിന്മേൽ താമ്രംകൊണ്ടു ഒരു പോതിക ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു; പോതികയുടെ ഉയരം അഞ്ചു മുഴം പോതികമേൽ ചുറ്റും വലപ്പണിയും മാതളപ്പഴവും ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു; സകലവും താമ്രംകൊണ്ടായിരുന്നു; രണ്ടാമത്തെ സ്തംഭത്തിന്നു ഇതുപോലെയുള്ള പണിയും മാതളപ്പഴവും ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു.

23 There were ninety-six apples on the outside; the number of apples all round the network was a hundred.നാലുപുറത്തുംകൂടെ തൊണ്ണൂറ്റാറു മാതളപ്പഴവും ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു: വലപ്പണിയിൽ ചുറ്റുമുള്ള മാതളപ്പഴം ആകെ നൂറു ആയിരുന്നു.

24 And the captain of the armed men took Seraiah, the chief priest, and Zephaniah, the second priest, and the three door-keepers;അകമ്പടിനായകൻ മഹാപുരോഹിതനായ സെരായാവെയും രണ്ടാം പുരോഹിതനായ സെഫന്യാവെയും മൂന്നു വാതിൽകാവൽക്കാരെയും പിടിച്ചുകൊണ്ടുപോയി.

25 And from the town he took the unsexed servant who was over the men of war, and seven of the king's near friends who were in the town, and the scribe of the captain of the army, who was responsible for getting the people of the land together in military order, and sixty men of the people of the land who were in the town.നഗരത്തിൽനിന്നു അവൻ യോദ്ധാക്കളുടെ വിചാരകനായ ഒരു ഷണ്ഡനെയും നഗരത്തിൽവെച്ചു കണ്ട ഏഴു രാജപരിചാരകന്മാരെയും ദേശത്തിലെ ജനത്തെ പടെക്കു ശേഖരിക്കുന്ന സേനാപതിയുടെ രായസക്കാരനെയും നഗരത്തിൽ കണ്ട അറുപതു നാട്ടുപുറക്കാരെയും പിടിച്ചു കൊണ്ടുപോയി.

26 These Nebuzaradan, the captain of the armed men, took with him to the king of Babylon at Riblah.ഇവരെ അകമ്പടിനായകനായ നെബൂസർ-അദാൻ പിടിച്ചു രിബ്ളയിൽ ബാബേൽരാജാവിന്റെ അടുക്കൽ കൊണ്ടുചെന്നു.

27 And the king of Babylon put them to death at Riblah in the land of Hamath. So Judah was taken prisoner away from his land.ബാബേൽരാജാവു ഹമാത്ത് ദേശത്തിലെ രിബ്ളയിൽവെച്ചു അവരെ വെട്ടിക്കൊന്നു; ഇങ്ങനെ യെഹൂദാ സ്വദേശം വിട്ടു പ്രവാസത്തിലേക്കു പോകേണ്ടിവന്നു.

28 These are the people whom Nebuchadrezzar took away prisoner: in the seventh year, three thousand and twenty-three Jews:നെബൂഖദ്നേസർ പ്രവാസത്തിലേക്കു കൊണ്ടുപോയ ജനം: ഏഴാം ആണ്ടിൽ മൂവായിരത്തിരുപത്തുമൂന്നു യെഹൂദന്മാർ;

29 And in the eighteenth year of Nebuchadrezzar he took away as prisoners from Jerusalem eight hundred and thirty-two persons:നെബൂഖദ്നേസരിന്റെ പതിനെട്ടാം ആണ്ടിൽ അവൻ യെരൂശലേമിൽനിന്നു പ്രവാസത്തിലേക്കു കൊണ്ടുപോയ എണ്ണൂറ്റിമുപ്പത്തുരണ്ടു പേർ;

30 In the twenty-third year of Nebuchadrezzar, Nebuzaradan, the captain of the armed men, took away as prisoners seven hundred and forty-five of the Jews: all the persons were four thousand and six hundred.നെബൂഖദ്നേസരിന്റെ ഇരുപത്തുമൂന്നാം ആണ്ടിൽ, അകമ്പടിനായകനായ നെബൂസർ-അദാൻ പ്രവാസത്തിലേക്കു കൊണ്ടുപോയ യെഹൂദന്മാർ എഴുനൂറ്റി നാല്പത്തഞ്ചുപേർ; ഇങ്ങനെ ആകെ നാലായിരത്തറുനൂറു പേരായിരുന്നു.

31 And in the thirty-seventh year after Jehoiachin, king of Judah, had been taken prisoner, in the twelfth month, on the twenty-fifth day of the month, Evil-merodach, king of Babylon, in the first year after he became king, took Jehoiachin, king of Judah, out of prison.യെഹൂദാരാജാവായ യെഹോയാഖീന്റെ പ്രവാസത്തിന്റെ മുപ്പത്തേഴാമാണ്ടിൽ പന്ത്രണ്ടാം മാസം ഇരുപത്തഞ്ചാം തിയ്യതി ബാബേൽരാജാവായ എവീൽ-മെരോദക്ക് തന്റെ വാഴ്ചയുടെ ഒന്നാം ആണ്ടിൽ യെഹൂദാരാജാവായ യെഹോയാഖീനെ കടാക്ഷിച്ചു കാരാഗൃഹത്തിൽനിന്നു വിടുവിച്ചു,

32 And he said kind words to him and put his seat higher than the seats of the other kings who were with him in Babylon.അവനോടു ആദരവായി സംസാരിച്ചു, അവന്റെ ആസനത്തെ തന്നോടു കൂടെ ബാബേലിൽ ഉള്ള രാജാക്കന്മാരുടെ ആസനങ്ങൾക്കു മേലായി വെച്ചു,

33 And his prison clothing was changed, and he was a guest at the king's table every day for the rest of his life.അവന്റെ കാരാഗൃഹവസ്ത്രം മാറ്റി, അവൻ ജീവപര്യന്തം നിത്യവും അവന്റെ സന്നിധിയിൽ ഭക്ഷണം കഴിച്ചുപോന്നു.

34 And for his food, the king gave him a regular amount every day till the day of his death, for the rest of his life.അവന്റെ അഹോവൃത്തിയോ ബാബേൽരാജാവു അവന്നു അവന്റെ മരണദിവസംവരെ അവന്റെ ജീവകാലമൊക്കെയും നിത്യവൃത്തിക്കു ദിവസം പ്രതിയുള്ള ഓഹരി കൊടുത്തുപോന്നു.
