എന്നാൽ അവർ അനുസരിക്കയോ ശ്രദ്ധിക്കയോ ചെയ്യാതെ തങ്ങളുടെ ദുഷ്ടഹൃദയത്തിന്റെ ആലോചനയിലും ദുശ്ശാഠ്യത്തിലും നടന്നു മുമ്പോട്ടല്ല പുറകോട്ടു തന്നേ പൊയ്ക്കളഞ്ഞു.

nor	וְלֹֽא	lōʾ	loh
inclined	הִטּ֣וּ	nāṭâ	na-TA
	אֶת	ʾēt	ate
their ear,	אָזְנָ֔ם	ʾōzen	oh-ZEN
but walked	וַיֵּֽלְכוּ֙	hālak	ha-LAHK
in the counsels	בְּמֹ֣עֵצ֔וֹת	môʿēṣâ	moh-ay-TSA
in the imagination	בִּשְׁרִר֖וּת	šĕrîrût	sheh-ree-ROOT
heart,	לִבָּ֣ם	lēb	lave
of their evil	הָרָ֑ע	raʿ	ra
and went	וַיִּהְי֥וּ	hāyâ	ha-YA
backward,	לְאָח֖וֹר	ʾāḥôr	ah-HORE
and not	וְלֹ֥א	lōʾ	loh
forward.	לְפָנִֽים׃	pānîm	pa-NEEM
