കേട്ടോ, ദൂരദേശത്തുനിന്നു എന്റെ ജനത്തിന്റെ പുത്രി: സീയോനിൽ യഹോവ വസിക്കുന്നില്ലയോ? അവളുടെ രാജാവു അവിടെ ഇല്ലയോ എന്നു നിലവിളിക്കുന്നു. അവർ തങ്ങളുടെ വിഗ്രഹങ്ങൾകൊണ്ടും അന്യദേശങ്ങളിലെ മിത്ഥ്യാമൂർത്തികൾകൊണ്ടും എന്നെ കോപിപ്പിച്ചതെന്തിന്നു?

not אֵ֣ין ʾayin ah-YEEN
in Zion? בְּצִיּ֔וֹן ṣiyyôn tsee-YONE
אִם ʾim eem
her king מַלְכָּ֖הּ melek meh-LEK
not אֵ֣ין ʾayin ah-YEEN
בָּ֑הּ
in her? Why מַדּ֗וּעַ maddûaʿ ma-DOO-ah
have they provoked me to anger הִכְעִס֛וּנִי kaʿas ka-AS
with their graven images, בִּפְסִלֵיהֶ֖ם pĕsîl peh-SEEL
vanities? בְּהַבְלֵ֥י hebel heh-VEL
with strange נֵכָֽר׃ nēkār nay-HAHR
