വിശാലസ്ഥലത്തുനിന്നു പൈതങ്ങളെയും വീഥികളിൽനിന്നു യുവാക്കളെയും ഛേദിച്ചുകളയേണ്ടതിന്നു മരണം നമ്മുടെ കിളിവാതിലുകളിൽകൂടി കയറി നമ്മുടെ അരമനകളിലേക്കു പ്രവേശിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.

to cut off לְהַכְרִ֤ית kārat ka-RAHT
the children עוֹלָל֙ ʿôlēl oh-LALE
from without, מִח֔וּץ ḥûṣ hoots
the young men בַּחוּרִ֖ים bāḥûr ba-HOOR
from the streets. מֵרְחֹבֽוֹת׃ rĕḥōb reh-HOVE
